Assembled well. No real mattress base board so be careful with a memory foam mattress. We have memory foam and it works ok but starts to sink through the slats if our daughter stands on it for any reason.
This bed was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. The height is perfect for my 3 1/2 year old. I would of given this product 5 stars if not for the smell.
Con: the bed had a very strong smell when first assembled that was nearly overwhelming for the first 2 days however the smell did dissipate after 4 days of airing the room daily with windows open and a fan on.
Very easy to assemble (best with 2 people). All pieces were accounted for. 2 pieces were mislabeled with the wrong letters, but that was not a problem. Delivery came faster than expected. No dents or broken pieces.
Youll need a screw driver, itll help with aligning wood joint connectors because the hex head needs to be pushed in and aligned. In total with a little help from my 3yr old to hand me stuff, hold an end for me and hauling stuff upstairs, it took about 2hrs.
