The bed is very nice and my granddaughter really loves it But the instructions didn't match up with some of the parts
For instance some of the screws that were suppose to be screwed into boards that lay across to hold up mattress, The screws were way to short to screw in even a quarter of the way there's no way those were the correct ones very frustrating. Something that should of taken one hour to assemble took nearly 4 hours.
I was skeptical on buying this and had it in my cart for about 2 months. Finally bought it. I just put it together by myself, took about 1 hour. Very pleased with it. Extremely sturdy, no cracks or marks were on it, its packaged well. No missing pieces. I learned not to tighten the bolts too tight with the wrench or it will start cracking the wood. All in all its a great buy for the money. My 5 yr old is extremely happy with it. Perfect size for her now and for a few years hopefully.
Honestly think it was a great purchase! Packaging was perfect no tears or breakage. Its been 3 weeks and I have no complaints. Bed feels sturdy has a nice look! Only thing is that it was a little than expected but still ok. Added the jungle tent from ikea.
Was a bit worried about this purchase because of a few of the reviews Ive read on it, but decided to take a chance. Im so happy that I did.
We didnt use power tools when putting this bed together and the wood has done just fine. Directions were also easy to follow. I put another twin mattress under it so we can use it as a bunk bed versus a loft bed. There is plenty of space for my 3 year old under it. I also like the fact that this bed doesnt stand tall. Im 53 and the height of this bed is right at my shoulders. Really happy with this purchase so far. Will update later is anything changes.

Its been a few months since my children started using this bed. Im still very happy with this purchase. Its holding up well!!
We're pretty happy with this purchase. My husband and I assembled it in about 1.5 hrs.
My 5 year old absolutely loves it! He gets up and down the ladder easily and says he feels safer (from monsters). Thank you for a great product!

So here's the review
1. The smell of the wood is STRONG. It's not a toxic smell but it's quit unpleasant and I have wipes the bed down and aired out the room it lingers. Hopefully it goes away soon (it's been 2 weeks)
2. Sturdy-yes
3-easy to to together-yes better with 2 sets of hands
4- size- fits a twin size mattress and doesn't take anymore Tom than a twin size bed

i bought 2 of these beds for my daughters. i assembled them myself, by myself. they are super easy to assemble. did them both in an evening. they love them. i did add a thin sheet of sanded plywood on top of the slates to help support the bed. they seemed thin and spaced out. put a 5 inch memory foam on top and its really solid.
