I was hesitant because of some of the reviews but its really nice. But the mattress might come through the wooden slats if the mattress isnt long enough it other than that its soooo perfect for my 4 year old
Disappointed this item is not bright white as pictured in the photos. Had I been home when my husband assembled it I would have told him not to and returned the bed. It does not match any other white furniture in room. It is this pale yellowish creamy white color.
I bought this for my 4 year old and it is perfect for him- allows for storage of toys underneath and a fort to play under. Id imagine it will still be a good bed for the next few years
Other reviewers said the bed is easy to assemble but I didn't find it so. One hole early on was blocked and I couldn't get the screw in; two parts were labeled with the same letter even though they were different (the long sides of the bed) which totally threw off the rest of the build including the stairs which aren't parallel: and the slats that go across under the mattress are a total pain to secure...the slats are short width-wise and it's not clear which part the screws should go into to secure to the frame. It would have been even harder if we didn't have an electric screwdriver. Took several hours to put together and one part at the top is cracking, perhaps because we didn't build it correctly.
Difficulty building and questionable sturdiness aside, the bed looks like it does in the pictures and is simple and cute. The white is more of an off-white / cream color. There is enough room underneath to put a full mattress perpendicular to the loft bed. There is room for a child to play or sleep underneath but not and adult to fully sit up (I thought I could read to her underneath but there's not enough overhead clearance). You definitely need a mattress 6 or shorter to be safe; our 11 mattress is much too thick
It was not what I was looking for. I hand to put a board under mattress because it kept falling through even with the biggest mattress I could purchase

My 2 year old live it, we also made the bottom section into a fort with some curtains.

My kids afraid of heights
Worried about getting him a normal sized loft bed. Hes 4 and this one was perfect. Saves floor space in his room, but its not too tall to scare him
Good but shipping box and item was defective
I like the bed, and kids loved it too. However, the shipping box and the bed frame were damaged.

Hell yeah worth it and my 3 year old loves her new high bed fram and still has full room use
