It's a solid bed frame for kids. One thing that the designer didn't think through was not having enough slats. Since the bed was designed for mattress approximately 6 inches in height, the only mattress that fits are foam. There are only 8 slats that have a pretty big gap in between causing the mattress to sag making it uncomfortable for your child to sleep. I remedied that by buying twin slats at Ikea for $30. If the designer would have tested it out they would see the problem, but I don't think they did. This is why I gave it 3 stars and will definitely not purchase again.
The bed was fairly easy to assemble. The only issue was the instructions were not completely clear about one piece of the lower bed frame assembly where there is two large circular cuts to join the leg post to the bed frame. I tried to call support but no one answered and I didn't want to wait for an email. I looked for an assembly video or a more clear instruction manual online but nothing was to be found. I figured out a way to make it work with the hardware supplied though. All in all with a few breaks and some time to look for clearer instructions on the questionable piece, it took about 4 hrs to assemble. My children love it and the cats do too. So far it seems to be a great purchase.
We love it! My 3 kids share a room and they absolutely love having their own space. The drawers are huge and the space under the bed is a small hideaway. Great value for the money
i like that it sleeps five kids, i dont like that the very bottom bed that slides out is made of wood and that its very delicate. Be' careful when putting that part together. All in All its what we wanted, just wish the slide out bed was a bottle more sturdy.
I read several mixed reviews about this bunk bed, but decided to order it any ways, and Im happy that I did. It was easy to assemble, and is very sturdy. It easily fits four kiddos, giving them each their own space. Im very happy with this purchases!
