This would be easiest to assemble with two people, but i did it by myself. Not the easiest, but doable. Its a nice size. Im 53 and can stretch out in it. My only real issue is that the cushion isnt very thick and so you feel the bars. I think Ill add some pillows to it. Maybe even get more stuffing the the cushion it came with.
This my comfy mommy chair! Got it for mothers day from a local store (not thru ) and paid $299! Im 57 and 200lbs. It can hold me and my 3 children! I can stretch out or curl up. Love the drink holders on each side too. Material seems sturdy. One thing that would be nicer is if the cushion had well more cushion and maybe if there was a way to attach the cushion so it wouldnt slide down often.
Overall, we all love this chair!
I bought my second hanging pumpkin. Its more than a novelty act. 17 months now and its quite comfortable and had to buy another. My friends really liked it.
Do yourself a favor and watch any YouTube video about assembly. I was ready to chuck this thing over the hill before I realized there was a better way. Once put together, its a super comfortable, sturdy chair.
I love this chair, however we have had to add extra padding because the bars can be uncomfortable. The first one broke at the base, but they replaced it and the new base hasnt had any issues. It was somewhat difficult and definitely takes at least two people to stretch the chair out.
Very sturdy stand for my swing chair. The height from hanging loop (for carabiner which is nicely included with stand) is only 74 inches, so be sure it is high enough for your particular chair. Definitely needs two people to assemble. I have been checking the tightness of the bolts since using it, and during the first two or three days, they did need tightening. Ill continue to check probably once or twice a month. I do swing in my chair slightly, and often turn direction, there is no wobbling and I feel very secure. The base extends under the chair, I have a soft rug to cushion the front legs of the base to avoid stubbed toes. Happy with this stand.
I really like the chair! My mom bought this for me as a house warming gift. The only cons: it came with fabric straps to hang by, not the chains pictured, and the overstuffed cushion is not over stuffed and slips off at any chance. I will buy some extra padding, but feel like these two things should be addressed in future models, as these would have probably been a deal breaker in a brick and mortar store.
So I hardly ever write reviews, but this chair is absolutely amazing. As you can see by my picture I didn't use it as an outdoor chair like it's marketed for. I wanted to make a cozy indoor reading area and this chair had everything I wanted. I wanted an egg-like chair and saw that this one swings too and the reviews were good. I was expecting it to be small and my legs to hang off of it. For reference I'm 5'4 and I can stretch my legs out in it! The chair is much bigger and the cushion is much softer than I thought it was going to be! I bought an LED hedge light to string along the back for decoration. I can't wait to see it at night! If you are on the fence about this, I would definitely recommend it.
This was such a great buy! I love it sooo much. The only time I'm not in it, is when the sun is shining right on me (1pm-4pm) due to where my patio is. But is so comfy and was very easy to assemble. I'm a bit of a DIYer though. The only thing that took some time was wrapping and tie the straps around the top. The directions have pics but they're in black and white and the straps are black so its hard to see clearly. But other than that no issues at all! Love love love this! Def a great buy for one or two (small) people.

Cute, nice addition to existing ensemble. Difficult to attach spring and hooks, but other than that very easy to assemble.
