I absolutely love this sofa loveseat. I was a little concerned when we had strong winds and rain. The chair withstood the winds. This chair is very sturdy.
This stand is very well made and heavy.I see no issues with the welding joints, it appears to be welded very well. There's only 4 pieces to put together with 2 sets of screws. I didnt look at the directions and figured it out. It would of been helpful with a second person. Ive seen stands like this forsale for much more money, so im very satisfied.
What I have to say about this chair isnt so much about it specifically as it is about the egg-chair-hammock design in general. Aesthetically it is beautiful. The red color is nice. Sitting in this chair is just not too comfortable. In fact it can be pretty straining for the back and neck as there is no support whatsoever. Youre not sitting, yet youre not horizontal, essentially youre just slouching/drooping. Its also kind of cumbersome to get in and out of it. I ended up buying eight (8!) Ikea 20x20 throw pillows for it and thats the bare minimum I need to be able to sit in this chair with my daughter and read to her before bed. Some people might like this type of lazy droopy slouchy way of sitting but I prefer more structure for the sake of my back and neck. Its nice that it is versatile and can work well both inside and outside. I am going to continue to sit in it with my daughters to read together (it is nice that you can sway gently in it) and I imagine when theyre older and eventually teenagers they might enjoy it. Returning this chair is hardly an option because of its size not to mention the disassembly youd have to do so I would strongly suggest going to a home goods store and testing out any hanging-egg chair style. If you like it then odds are you will like this chair.
For the price, overall its a steal. I just want to cover some negatives things about this chair that I read about before buying it.
1) It comes with a pad that goes under the main cushion. It helps a little but you can still feel the metal bars after a while. I plan on getting a tougher pad (maybe rubber) to help.
2) people complain that you cant sit straight up. Its an EGG chair. Eggs are curved. Its not a computer chair. Im 64 and I sit very comfortably in it. Plenty of head space. Sat on it for an hour when I first got it. No neck or back pain. Its for lounging.
3) its extremely easy to put together (if there is 2 people) I was by myself but it wasnt too bad.
4) There is no way to secure the cushions to the chair (Ill find a way to). They dont slide around a lot but you will have to reposition them.
This has become my teenage daughters favorite chair. I bought this for my youngest daughters Sweet 16th birthday in August 2020. The chair was shipped without the hardware to put it together so I had to email the company. They sent the hardware and the instructions. It was pretty straightforward to put together. I actually put this in our living room near the sliding glass door to our upper deck. This way my daughter can get that indoor/outdoor feel. She has taken a few of her remote learning classes on this chair. With the weather starting to get nippy, shell enjoy sitting on it with the fireplace going as well. Seeing how much shes enjoying it makes me know that it was a great birthday gift. I highly recommend it.
Its comfy. The assembly instuctions were not written well. We had to watch multiple youtube videos to figure out how to situate the loops to hang the chair. Be aware the red color is not really red its more burgandy; this was the most disapointing part about the chair as the picture online and even in the booklet shows the chair being a bright red. Overall I would say its a nice chair and Im sure I'll spend hours reading and relaxing in it but its definitely not worth the almost 400$ I paid for it.

A bit expensive but my favorite furniture purchase ever! Lounging around on the patio in an exquisitely beautiful and comfortably unique piece!
