It was pretty difficult to assemble, but once we got it together and tightened everything it is pretty sturdy. When climbing up and down the ladder I would feel the bed kind of shake, so I put L brackets against the wall and I no longer have any issues of with the sturdiness. This bed in my opinion is worth the money. I bought this for myself because I moved into a small bedroom and needed more space, this allowed me to be able to have my desk under my bed. Which gave my room a lot more space overall.
This was the perfect height for my child. Was able to put book shelves below amd create a reading nook/ lounge area underneath. I like how sturdy it is when put together. Would recommend.
I love this bed. It feels quite safe and sturdy. the only problem we have with it is that none of the three stair drawers work. they look fine and we literally cant figure out why they dont work. but they dont. they wont slide in al the way, end up hitting some kind of roadblock, and then just stay open about an inch because they wont close. it is very very VERY frustrating. other than the drawers, this is a great option for growing kiddos.
I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews where people had quality issues or complained of difficult assembly. It does initially appear to be a large task when you lay all the parts out, but it goes together relatively easily, ensuring the four corner posts are oriented properly is about the most difficult part. I was able to assemble this by myself but it was a but difficult to get the side rails on without help, two people for that part will be necessary for the average person. I bought this for a child but tested it first, I weigh 240 pounds and felt comfortable and didnt have any concerns when I laid on it to test the sturdiness.
This bed and desk combo is perfect for our high schooler! The desk is really large72x24which he loves for gaming! The tuck under desk gives him a sense of privacyand the 483.00 price tag for the dark wood stain is unbeatable. Its sturdy, stylish for a young male and a great price to boot!!!Delivery was on schedule and it came in a compact box that was easily manageable for two people.
The beds are an awesome addition to my kids room. I was a little nervous about buying beds on without being able to see them up close and personal in a store but I am very happy with this purchase. The beds are made from real wood not that pressed board garbage. They are very sturdy and the design leaves my kids plenty of extra room for their other furniture and toys. Once you lay out all of the pieces and get yourself organized they are fairly simple to assemble, however, a second person is needed for certain parts of the assembly. Another point to note is that during shipment one of the pieces for the headboard was damaged and it literally only took a few minutes to get in contact with support to have another part shipped to us. I assembled the bed with the broken part for now since it was not damaged in any way that would pose any safety risk, it just looks bad having a crack. Once the part arrives it will only take a few minutes to loosen a few screws and replace the broken part. All-in-all these beds are impressive and worth the price I paid at the time of purchase. Another side note, the beds are very large and extremely high unlike other bunk beds. Make sure to look at the height and make sure the room your putting them in has high enough ceilings to accommodate this bed in order to prevent a few bumps on the noggin.

this is awesome - except for the drawers
I love this bed.
