I rate it average because it is comfortable to sleep only after a thick bedspread. You need to be careful while sleeping bacause it might topple due to imbalance legs.
when assembled and flattened to be a bed, theres a metal bar in the center making it impossible to sleep as it hurts your back or sides ... wanted to return it but its too big to return .. i shouldnt have bought it.
This futon is pretty good for something quick and simple. Ive had people sleep on it and have no problems, they loved it. I did have an issue with the center leg breaking, but I went to the website and luckily I still had the box it came in for a stock number and packaging date (Keep this info before getting rid of the box!!!!) I was able to order a replacement center leg for no cost, and it got to me in about 2 weeks. The replacement leg was stronger, it wont break like the first one did. Great find for the price.
This product will hold up for a very short time so if thats all you are looking for, go for it. But soon you will feel metal under your rear and then the support will pop completely one day and your rear will be sinking into a big bowl. Happened on both chaise lounges I purchased.
The couch looks great and was easy to assemble. Its not super comfy but was better than I expected, especially after searching on for similar products and reading all of the reviews for this style. I wouldnt recommend as a daily use couch but it does good in my office for additional seating and the occasional guest.
