Lovely little bed for children however, the mattress supports are insufficient at 9 apart. Every mattress store we visited or bed in a box we looked at required 3. Safety standards recommend 3 as well as a imum distance between boards. Disappointing that a product such as this would not provide slats that meet this ideal.
This bed frame is quite shaky. It needs a support beam going diagonally across the back. Were going to try to intall one. Also the wood panels didnt fit. Be sure to get 6 mattresses.

Love the bed. Wish the trundle popped up to the twin bed height. But it will work perfectly for intended use.
Got this for the cabin. It is sturdy and still light enough to pull away from the wall easily so I can make the beds and not feel like a Trex trying to put the fitted sheets on.
For the price this is great I was surprised at the quality for the price point. The finish is on trend. Some the the screws holes are visible but very few compared to other beds.
Overages excited to have our boys use this bed. I think it will last a lot longer than I thought it would.
Though this bunk bed is adorable and rather easy to assemble it is poor quality. Cheap wood and breaks easily. The slats that act as the support for the mattresses bend and easily crack and break

A little on the flimsy side.
I had to reinforce a couple of areas. Now my boys can play and sleep on in and around it.
