This is a really cute bed, my daughter loves it. Not difficult to assemble following the instructions (about 1.5 hour). The bed is solid wood, but the type of wood is light and the bed slides off on our wood floors. I will probably place a rug underneath so that it stays in place. The trundle slides off easily on its casters. Happy with our purchase.
You can tell this is a high-quality piece. Unfortunately, our trundle is already falling apart after only a few months of hardly any use. I really wanted to love this and do love the bed. Wondering if maybe we got a defective trundle because of how well the bed is made.
The ONLY problem with this is the way to pull out the bed. Over time it feels like the wood is going to eventually break. There isnt top support on the face of the trundle part. Every time I pull it out I feel like its going to come off. Other then that its very sturdy!
I got the full bed with a twin trundle underneath. I personally love this bed the bed is very sturdy and it looks good with my daughters room I really recommend this bed!!!

Update: A year later and I bought a second one of these beds for my son. This time with the drawers. Just as impressed as the first time. Great purchase.
When I bought this a year ago, I loved the design of this and how it was clean and simple. I bought a similar bed for a little less from Ashley furniture and when it arrived, it was clear it wasnt going to work. CHeaply made, flimsy, and not practical. I shopped forever for something simple but timeless. When this arrived, the quality was there, the color and the design were perfect. I feel good about this bed and think it has stood up to my daughter jumping up and down on it and all the sleepovers shell used trundle bed for.

Need something
too big for the space. Already assembled so they wont take back. Needed a low loft.
