The box that the bed came in was delivered with both ends opened and damaged. Thankfully, the parts were all there and it was undamaged. It seems to be sturdy. Although I am a bit iffy about it. It is a beautiful bed, even more so with the canopy that I purchased. For the price, I cant complain. Unless it falls apart. But so far, so good. We have slept on it two nights so far.
Ive bought two of this type of bed frame in the past year. One white and one , I highly recommend this frame for a carpeted room ONLY. I believe thats why some people are having stability issues. The white frame was my first purchase and is the best, I had do the assembly. Overall it is lovely. The one was my second purchase, which I put together myself. It does not feel as sturdy as the white one, I have squeaking problems with the slightest moves consistently. Everything is screwed in tight so Im not sure why one squeaks and the other doesnt. But for the price, you cannot beat this frame. Plus it is very cute, I get tons of compliments.
I almost didnt buy this bed because of all the reviews about it breaking. I went back and looked at the photos on one particular review after assembling myself and saw very clearly that the support bars were swapped and some supports werent even installed in the bed in the photos. So it is a bummer their bed fell apart but it was NOT assembled properly.
SO follow the instructions and you will have a beautiful bed, it is not noisy or wobbley and I sleep so peacefully in it. Truely a dream come true.
Its a perfect starter frame. However, I do love the fact it just needs the mattress which saves from being way higher off the ground. Its pretty simple to put together if you follow the style instructions. All parts and tools came with it. So all you really need is, body strength. It does take some time putting together.
So my cons are it squeaks a lot. When you sit, turn, slip and get up out of bed. I ended up adding on rubber washers to try to help lessen the squeak. But its , right? Its going to not be silent. It does squeak more than I prefer. I purchased the king size and Im 150lbs and it makes noise as one person.
I recommend getting rubber washers if you get this. Also, never had issues with bending of the poles under the bed. Not sure what people are doing (questionable) or maybe theyre not the weight for it. Who knows. But I will say I did test it out after I put it together by mimicking noises as if someone else was in the bed (shaking it and moving it back and forth) and lets say, it might not be roommate or child friendly just a FYI.
Other than that. Its perfect if you move and need to take it apart. I like it. It works.
Bed frame wasnt terrible to assemble. Just had one hiccup trying to get the leg to line up with the bottom frame bar. Had to pull with all my might to get them to line up so my wife could screw in the little bolt. Other than that it went according to plan, its great. Good for the price!

Ive been using this for about a month now, with no squeaking and still feels stable and sturdy! It definitely added a nice look to the room and you cant beat the price. Great bed! No box springs needed, very sturdy and looks exactly what pictures show! I love it!
Only downfall to this bed is trying to remove the stickers off of the rods that go at top of frame! Goo/gone is even having a tough time removing!
