I absolutely love the minimalism of this bed. The color is exactly as pictured, although not as shiny and more of a dulled matte. I still love the feel of this and like how it adds some dynamic space to my tiny bedroom. I opted not to add a canopy as I like the clean lines not obscured, but I think it would look very romantic and beautiful with a canopy!
One thing I disliked about this bed is the weak s meant to keep the bed from needing a box spring. While I opted for a box spring anyway, the s shift no matter what you do, even from a 35 lb dog jumping on the bed after youve properly installed the s and clips to prevent any moving.
Additionally, there will be places no matter how good you are at assembling furniture, where the length just isnt quite right and a screw will stick out because the length of one side does not match the other. This is to be expected from a bedframe that is less that 200.
I would recommend investing in a sturdy wooden board for underneath your thick mattress or box spring. Otherwise, LOVE this bed!
Accidentally ordered a full instead of a Queen because the queen apparently isnt on Prime. Its more bronze/copper than . And the bolts are so have your spray paint ready. But all in all, its a great frame doesnt sqeak of you know what I mean
The bed came out great, instructions were clear, and they even included spare parts that came in a separate bag from the required parts in the blister packing. Easy assembly for 2 people, one person would be fine but should consider getting help when putting top rails on (final step).
Bed is not sturdy, more for child or teen. Center broke in three weeks, had to replace with center support rails from another dealer. Definitely not for heavy people. Overall it is a good apt sized canopy as its just about 6 feet/62 tall. With the price, I guess you get what you pay for so Im guessing it wont last long. Needs improvement with the frame as a whole. After adding additional support Im OK with the bed as it is cute, just wish it was taller and better built!
One of the pieces was essentially backwards when it came to the rods that the mattress sits on. It that becomes an issue Ill have to get a replacement piece. So far so good, though. Also the color isnt very as it is like baby/poo brown? Oh well!
I just put together my bed yesterday. It is definitely more of a bronze color. Luckily I had spray paint leftover from another project so I used that to brighten up my bed before I put it together. Went together pretty easily. A few trying spots where screws wouldnt quite line up but since I always have this problem it is probably human error and not a problem with the bed itself. I slept in it with no signs of sagging or anything. So far so good. Im very pleased I purchased this bed.
I love this bed!!! It came well packaged. No damage to box or bed frame. All parts LABELED! Easy to read instructions. All screw holes drilled and aligned. Seems to be pretty sturdy but we shall see on that point. At this moment, Im very pleased with this purchase.
I normally dont write reviews, but its been a dream of mine to own a canopy bed since I was a little kid. And its the first bed frame Ive bought, and Im like really excited about it. Because Ive always just had my bed on the floor lol.
Youre getting exactly what is pictured. Assembly was really easy. My boyfriend put it together by himself within an hour. I offered to help, but he insisted on doing it himself haha. The only thing I wish was more sturdy are the poles along the top. Theyre a bit flimsy and thin, it can hold sheers no problem. But I live in a small ass apartment in DC where every inch of space is valuable lol, so hanging clothes or whatever else on it isnt really a thing. (I know its not meant for that, but was trying to utilize space and justify having more clothes than I can fit in this 500sqft English basement with a king size bed and canopy I need all the space 100 utilized lol)
Overall so happy with it!
So beautiful and exactly what my husband and I wanted! I was a little worried ordering online because my husband and I together probably way about 400 pounds but we have had no issues! Its sturdy and it has even made our mattress we got off even more comfortable! (If you want a comfy cheap mattress trust me thats the way to go) assembly was quick and easy! So happy with this purchase!!
