The minute I opened the (VERY HEAVY) box, I saw a broken piece. I was worried about the condition of the rest of the pieces, but everything else was fine. It turned out I could assemble the cabinet while I wait for a response from the vendor for a replacement. The broken piece is more decorative and a finish piece for the bottom. I have faith the vendor will send a replacement (I emailed them).
Other than that issue, this is a perfect cabinet for my needs. I have an awkward corner in my master bathroom, between two closets. Dead space. I was worried about the measurements, but it fits absolutely perfectly, as you can see. I feel like it looks like a built in or custom! Other reviews mentioned thinking it was cheaply made. I dont think so at all, considering the price point.
I am a 58 year old woman who lives alone. The most difficult part of this purchase was getting the box from my front porch to the inside. Once inside, I opened the box in the front foyer and carried individual pieces to the room where I would assemble it. Assembly was easy and the directions were clear. There were a couple of steps that said Two people required for this step but I improvised and had no trouble at all. Again, just remember it is heavy though!
I am VERY pleased with this purchase! I hope the vendor comes through with a replacement piece//then it will be perfection!
Ours shipped ups and not . It all came together in one big box. It took about 2 hours to assemble. It was not damaged at all once we received it. We have been using it for months now and it has held up great. The only downside I have dealt with is that it tends to lean forward if you have too much weight on the hooks. I wish it came with a anti/tip kit so that I would feel more confident about my baby being around it. For the price its well worth it however.

It is not flimsy compared to some other pieces I have that were similar in price but as it is not wood its definitely not the best quality. Since I paid less than 300 I feel I got a pretty good value for what I spent. I was looking at hall trees over 1000 and didnt want to pay that. I am very impressed with the amount of shoes I can store. I am a womens size 8 and I can fit 2 pairs of flats and sometimes 3 pairs of sandals in each cubbie. Its great. Mens shoes only one in each cubbie but they have less shoes anyway! Overall good purchase.
Its sturdy! Great deal for the price. Perfect for families with kids. I bought it in black and use black marker to hide scratches and at this price point, il not mad if it does get damaged.
