    Has some problems

It was easy to assemble but, the screws do not stay tight and the plugs over the holes keep coming out. I cannot glue the plugs in place as I have to tighten the screws often. I only weigh 163! I doubt that someone that weighs 200 could sit on the stool without problems.

    Easy to put together

Easy to put together. Not totally sturdy, but I think it's supposed to be able to move a little bit. Holds a 240lb man, no problem

    Very Happy

A nice sturdy stool. I use mine in my workout room. Very stable.

    So easy!

These arrive unassembled, but they were super easy to put together! Hardest part was holding the round dowel in a round hole steady. I assembled 2 in about 30 min. Very sturdy, comfortable and lightweight! I may order more!!

    have a little hammer

The only negative comment I have is that the screw covers had to be gently hammered in place. They would not stay in place by just pushing them in. Otherwise it was easy to assemble and is very sturdy.

    100% worth it

I built two of these. I read the reviews that mentioned difficulty building, and I hear you., but I mostly overcame it. - I used an Allen key from the hardware store and a pair of vice grips to make tightening the screws the least of my worries. - The dowels are difficult to screw in to with the Allen key because they rotate freely, but if you wait to screw them in until both sets of legs are attached, then you can use your body weight and position yourself and utilize the friction caused by your weight to keep the dowel from spinning as you screw in to it. - Also I advise using a rubber mallet to install the wooden screw caps. Start with a light tap or two then go over once with a large whack to keep it from ever popping out by mistake. A pair of work gloves would make this easier but I didnt have any on hand. Overall I am very satisfied, the wood is sturdy and solid (not cheap feeling) and its a perfect height for sitting on (29 inch version). I recommend these stools to anyone for the price I paid around $26 each

it was too short to use in my bathroom.

I can't stand for very long periods. I needed it to use in front of the mirror in the bathroom, but it was too short.

Hard to screw in the crossbars, caps dont stay in and fall out.
