I fell in love with this wine rack when I saw it on here! My husband bought it for me as a birthday present.
This wine rack is poorly made. When you go to drill the top in, the screws are too small or the wood is too solid. It was extremely difficult to get it screwed in. Also those camlocks SUCK. When putting this together, I broke about 5 of them. I was also shorted some camlocks as well. I ended up having to go to Lowes and buying some. I also found a shortage of screws. I ended up using longer screws to get it securely put together. I also notice it bows in the middle when you have 6/9 wine spots filled. We also use this as a liquor cabinet so maybe thats our bad if it bows. Its a beautiful piece but it has major flaws. Ill probably just have to add some more screws.
It was very hard to put together. The directions were only pictures and it was hard to figure out each step. I had to go out and but more screws because there were not enough included and several of them striped while we ere putting the buffet together.
Directions are a little difficult, but overall it took me right about an hour to put it together. I havent had it long enough to know if it will warp from weight on the shelves as others have claimed, but I dont plan on placing anything too heavy on the top. I have this in my entry hall way in my apartment. Its beautiful!
This buffet is exactly what we were looking for to go in our new apartment. The assembly was easy and relatively quick. The packaging was not the best, however, and it did arrive with two minor damages to two of the corners, but luckily theyre not very noticeable. It looks great, and we are happy with it.
Absolutely beautiful piece of furniture that is well built for the price. Only gave 4 stars because it took me quite awhile to put together (about 2.5 hours). So worth every penny!
I bought this to use as a liquor cabinet and mixing bar. The quality is quite as good as expected for this type of furniture, and to my eye it looks more expensive than it was. It was packaged well to protect the surfaces, all the parts were there, holes were properly drilled, and my daughter and I assembled with little difficulty it in a couple of hours. Im very satisfied with the purchase.
