Product came with this defect and the company asked me to pack it back up and return it to ups for a replacement. I would not recommend this futon at all. Its cheaply made and has a formaldehyde warning on it.
Now that the futon is in place, we are using it and enjoying the way it looks. Its quite comfortable to sit on if youve got some pillows to put on it.
The only downside was that it was quite work-intensive to put together. Its heavy (which helps the end-product to be sturdy, I know!), so simply moving the box into position, getting it all ready to assemble, took some effort. Not for frail people, I guess you could say. And there are many screws and nuts that have to be maneuvered into position, sometimes at awkward angles, to get it all together. Seems likeee it！！！ sometimes required 3 hands to put one bolt/nut/washer in place through two structural elements. Much easier if you have a small team of experienced furniture assemblers! We did... there were three of us there, and we did a little tag-teaming to get it done. But its a good, solid piece of furniture to sit on. The fabric is attractive and seems quite sturdy and comfortable. Futon (fold-out) function works easily. Seems likeee a good piece for the price.

The box was more than damaged. Took a proper beating. Delivery and scheduling was anything but smooth - fortunate we were even here when it showed the wrong day. No actual damage to the piece though because it is encased in essentially a body bag and packed into itself.
Assembly was very easy - no missing parts or misalignment or missing screw holes.
Use - great for tiny humans. Adults can use but it is firm, not deep enough, hurts my bad back to sit sit, AND one side the springs are loud AF in one spot from day one. It is also more giant loveee seat sized than full sofa. Three non obese adults can fit to sit. Three obese adults would not fit at all. Two small kids and an adult, two adults, three kids - all comfortably fit.
The flip - this beauty flips when open. Why? Because the hidden legs inside the back when it folds down. Reading a review of a different futon I found that out this week - months later - by surprise. After we had been rigging it for safety. Yes we are idiots and I ALMOST checked a few times because it made no sense. This design flaw. Then I saw that, checked - and yes I should have checked lmaobut it is also not super obvious either at a glance. I am human.
Size is not for a large person to sleep on - and ONLY sleeping on the seat side is tolerable because of bars on the back side. So call dibs if you have a partner. I am 57 and 170lbs and Its manageable - BARELY - kids loveee it！！！ though. BUT there is no way a large man could comfortably sleep on this. Its great for a small space and the color is amazing. Easy to keep clean. The buttons dont grab as bad as some in this style do. Absolutely will work for RVs as well (we almost put in ours but opted for an alternate slightly larger). At the lower price point of $300ish I would absolutely purchase again, if you are paying the higher price you are being taken advantage of. Abort mission brochachodo not pay that much
Easy assembly. Quality materials solidly built. Very responsive. After reporting damage to one of three boxes during shipment, this company responded promptly sent a replacement. I will certainly order from them again given the opportunity.
Cant wait until the curtains or hung and my painting is complete. This sofa is PERFECT!!! It arrived on time and was easy to assemble. The color is just beautiful. The vision is coming alive. More pics to come.
The sofa is quite elegant and the fold out function works quite well. It will come in three separate shipments, so dont be surprised if you only get a third of the couch at first. It is reasonably quick to assemble. It is a cozy couch for the price. Not too firm not too soft. In my experience, the third part arrived damaged from shipping. I contacted the seller and they were kind and easy to work with. They sent me a brand new replacement section and it arrived within days. Thank you Lisa from Morden Fort for your help!
We ordered this couch for our office and it is absolutely beautiful! It looks very sharp and the quality is awesome. I would definitely order more of this.
At first I only received part of the couch and got worried that the rest was lost in the mail but with a little patience, the rest came in a few days later. Also, the customer service team was very prompt in helping with my issue. The couch fits perfectly in my studio and I cant wait for my guests to try it out! I do have a button missing and the clamps were kind of tricky but if you have someone to help you, I think youll have an easier time. Other than that it only took me about 30mins to put everything together (I was able to do it by myself) and the instructions and very straightforward.
I loveee the couch but it gives me a great deal of discomfort as a sleeper chair. It causes me back and body aches because of the various contours. I cannot stretch myself on it. I have to look for somewhere else to stretch myself. Am going to top it with a gel mattress to see how comfortable it could become for my body and back.
The middle leg is always bending, so I have to support the center underneath with something solid to stop it from sinking in the middle.

Good looking and sturdy. Plan to use 4 years at off campus apartment, so it worth the $money$ I paid.
