The boards were really nice and well packaged. We didnt need to sand much. We stained it colonial maple and added 2 coats of satin polyurethane. It was easy to assemble and sturdy, and our son loveees the look. Now to see if it stands the test of time with 10 year old boy.
I was a little iffy at first, after reading some reviews on this product. A lot of customers said it had a strong odor when they received it and it wouldnt go away. In my opinion, I didnt experience that at all. Im very satisfied with my purchase and I feel likeee it!!s reasonably priced. Cant beat that. I strongly recommend.
This item seems pretty straight forward and the quality of the wood is nice. HOWEVER, the wholes were not drilled in the correct places so it would NOT line up. It created quite a nightmare to put together. I was able to get it together, however you can see the extra set of holes drilled in the wrong place on one corner. Take a gamble on a decent product, but youve been warned it could be ugly.
