Sturdy construction, all bolts and nut and parts in box. But the tools provided were too small to fit my hands and difficult to use. I had to use my own tools.
Box came in good shape. Only one tiny ding in the metal, but not noticeable with mattress on top. Easy to put together. I had a King Mattress and needed a base. Perfect for what we needed! Its in our guest room, so we have not tried out, but seems sturdy.
Love everything about this frame except for how it arrived. All the nuts and bolts were out of their shrink wrapped package and stuck inside the parts of the frame. Several parts had scratches due to shipping process.
Almost too easy to move! It started off super strong and didnt squeak at all but was hell to assemble. Now even walking by the bed will cause it to creak. If youre single this frame might work for you but my fiance and I now have to worry about waking up the whole neighborhood if we want to engage in any activities!
It wasnt too hard to assemble. Lots of nuts and bolts. I would have gotten a snap/together frame, but figured that this would be sturdier . The frame doesnt wobble at all or creak. The wooden slats are not very beefy, but they should do the job. They released a chemical into the air, however. I set bed up the day I got it,. Slept on it that night, and awoke with a dull headache. Ditto on the second night. Chemical odor was still present. Had to crack a couple windows in 25 degree weather. Then I slid the mattress off the frame Christmas morning to let the slats air out better. When I returned home at 9:30 that night, most of the smell was gone, so I put mattress back on. Kind of a nuisance. I would go with metal slats next time. The bed slides easily on my wood floors,. Probably not so good on carpet. I have to pull it out from the wall for cleaning the floor once a week. The legs dont appear to be scratching the floors, but I may add some felt pads just to be sure.
After a year of using this, I wanted to do an update. I am satisfied with it. Its not perfect, but what is? The metal frame part is sturdy and nothing has loosened. The wooden slats do make creaking noises now, but not horribly. They didnt initially. I dont know of a remedy for this. It doesnt bother me too much. I rotated the slats, fearing they would bend over time. Stubbed my toes a few times when I first got it, as the legs are not recessed. But this has not happened for months, so I must have learned to avoid it. All in all, not a bad purchase.
This is an honest non paid for non free item given review.
This is awesome! Do yourself a favor, and spend that extra 20/25. The very thin all metal frames with a metal mesh, squeak, rock and are nowhere near as supportive. Your mattress will soon become a hole. Especially the all metal frames with thin metal beams that are spread more far apart squeaks and the mattress will still fall through.
This one, with the wide wooden slats and thick heavy duty frame is supreme! Plus it has a higher clearance than most others to put larger items under the bed! The other cheaper frames are lower in clearance, only allowing your to slide items 10inches and under, under the bed. Making it kind of pointless.
This frame was VERY easy to assemble! It was already partially assembled. All that needed to be done was combine the largest parts, set some screws in and push the wood into the slots ready for them. Im a 65 year old woman and I put this together myself. Despite it being heavy duty, it is still pretty light in weight and very easy to move around with two people.
NO squeaks! It is sturdy! And no wobbling each time a larger in size and weight guest tosses and turns!
VERY worth the price and value!
5 Stars!
The product so far seems like a great buy. Already feel a difference in quality from my old (and more expensive) bed frame from Nectar. This frame was easy to assemble, but definitely would recommend 2 people to help hold and tighten the nuts and bolts. The wood slats give a little give to allow the mattress to form to body pressure points. Will update if product changes over time, but as of day 3 it feels very sturdy and reliable.
Edit: after 3 or so months, the most weight bearing slats got squeaky. But, swap them out with slats from the lower area of the bed, and good as new!

Sturdy metal frame
I like the sturdiness of the metal frame and the very secure wood slats that fit to make it a great bed frame
supplied tools too small
Sturdy construction, all bolts and nut and parts in box. But the tools provided were too small to fit my hands and difficult to use. I had to use my own tools.
Just what we needed

Good product poor packaging.

I hate it

Let the slats air out before you set this up
