Scratch was on the head board. Turned to wall. Seems sturdy. Looks of vintage style. Happy with it. Would purchase again if needed. Many pieces but not hard to assemble.
The box arrived with only slight shipping damage. The contents were undamaged. The bed was easy to assemble and is higher quality than what I was expecting. I give it a 4/star for sturdiness only because we have not had the bed long enough to know if, for instance, the plastic end piece that goes on the slats is going to hold up over time. Well also see if the welds hold up. Overall, the bed seems like a good buy for the price.
