I absolutely love this bench - I actually use it in my bathroom to store my extra towels and toiletries! It works perfectly and I get so many compliments on it! It was easy to assemble, and I love how sturdy it is.
Worked out well for my little yoga corner. My husband put it together in less than an hour even though hes not too handy. All the tools you need are included. Pretty high quality compared to the rest of our furniture. The baskets also come with it and fit my shoes, yoga straps, and blocks.
Found I dont use the baskets much. Also even after putting it together, I agree with the other reader, not very sturdy. I am 54 and 140lb- I will not sit on it to put my shoes on. It looks nice and holds shoes nicely, but do not sit on it.
Packaging for shipment was excellent. All parts arrived undamaged. Assembly was simple and quick. Completed assembly is very sturdy and made of real wood or something so close to that quality it doesnt matter. Not shown in the advert is the option to place the shelf on the top or bottom third of the unit to change the level for the baskets. It is now the base for an 80 lb. plasma TV. It has I nice looking walnut finish.
The bench is sturdy and looks very nice. Since it is mostly composite wood with veneer, it is extremely heavy. All the parts fit together well and everything was well-finished. Its a great value!
