This is great addition to my male 25 pound dog with mild kidney issues making him pee and drink with much more frequency. it would be ideal if just a little wider, for this price. That would keep spillage onto the belly band when a full urine stream happens. The placement with a male dog makes this narrow a pad allow for wetting the band; the point is to minimize need to keep changing band and to keep Luigi dry and this is an inch too narrow for my guy when he has a lot of volume, but it is still the best option we have found!
These are the best pads I have found. I have a little 4lb dog and the thinness of these pads works so well with him. I feel the price for what you get is good too.
I didn't know belly bands were a thing until the vet suggested it for my night time incontinent elderly dog. She suggested getting the liners, and It's perfect....easy to add to the band, is very absorbent , does not fall apart.
I like the liners as they're very absorbent. They look very thin but don't let the thinness fool you they absorb a lot.
I wish they came in a smaller size and adhesive strip was a little longer to hold liner in place a little better. They're just a little wide for the diapers for a small dog.
I've not had issues with the adhesive strip on the back; I use a couple of sets of dog diapers (Pet Parents) that seem to not have any issue. It doesn't stick like glue, but it sticks well enough that I haven't had any problems with it getting out of place.
I was having to go through three or four diapers a day/night previously, and since using these, I now only use three or four of these pads. They seem to make the diaper more snug and comfortable for her but at the same time add a considerable amount of absorbency. Today, she must have voided her entire bladder (this is a 75 pound dog), and every bit of it was collected in the diaper. If it wasn't her whole bladder, it was a record amount in any case. As of yet, I've not had any "overflow" spill onto the diaper itself, so if it does get worse, I should be able to use the combo to get her throughout her days and nights.
In any case, I'm pretty happy with these. One would think this would be a strange product over which to be happy, but after you pull and put on a dog diaper many times a day, you grow to appreciate the small things.
Update 6/23/21. I continue to be pleased with these. There were size changes, with the XL becoming quite large and the Regular sizes shrinking a bit. However, I actually use both now, with the Regular during the day and the XL's at night when my dog has a much higher probability of voiding her whole bladder. There is no way the diapers I have would hold the amount of urine these can hold when she does that, so these are an absolute necessity.

Saves Luigi and me from constantly cleaning up spills or changing wet belly bands

Not wide enough
Needs to be wider like a baby diaper
Best Pads

Ok product
They absorb pretty well but they need to be wider.
Too square
These seem to be square I think a longer narrower one would be better
totally couldn't use the belly band without this insert!

They are great!
They work well with all kinds of pet diapers. I use them with disposable to help with leakage and with cloth diapers.
Great!!
Goes great with the reusable diapers it adds more cushion and absorbs more
Very absorbent.
