This was fairly simple to assemble. My dad and I did most of it together but we needed my moms help when we started putting the sides onto the back railing. Otherwise it was easy enough for two people. One of the bolts we stripped a little because it was tough to assemble and one of the drawer fronts didnt have pilot holes drilled to screw the screws in. Easy enough to fix, just annoying. It has been assembled for more than a month and my kids absolutely love it!
It took a while to arrive in fact the matresses arrived first but it was worth the wait I loved it! Very easy to assemble. In less than 3 hours it was ready, very good material.
Took my many hours to assemble. You will easily make mistakes in picking the right screws since its some of them are packaged in a same zipper pack and you will have to identify it correctly.
I made a mistake of screwing the wrong sizes and was super tough to find where I had screwed it. Had to unscrew everything to find it.
Some of the parts should be assembled on the right side even though they look the same else you will not have the right alignment and grooves that will make it fit perfect.
Overall the instructions and parts needs to be marked correctly and user friendly to make this tiresome job a tad easier.
Once built, this should serve your need (for kids) . I am worried that too much weight (adults) would damage. And strictly no jumping on the bed ;)

It seems pretty sturdy, and overall I feel it is good quality for the price. My 4 year old loves the stairs and the storage cabinet.
A great bunk bed. It isnt totally clear online, but the kit comes all the parts you need to make this either a twin over full or twin over twin. The instructions walk through the twin over full steps by default, but there are only a couple of different steps if youd rather make it twin over twin.

Pre-drilled and Pre-started holes for door hinges were in perfect spots and everything came together smoothly. Ive seen reviews panning the instructions and saying assembly is a real pain, but I do not think that is true. Its a big project, and the details really matter — simply pay attention to where holes are in pictures to determine which ways different pieces need to face, and youll be fine. All told, it took about 5-hours start to finish without rushing.
Oh, and make sure you have a hex bit for your screw gun or drill. Pretty much the whole thing assembles with long hex bolts that would take a very long time to do by hand. Invest in a drill and thank yourself later. Or find a friend and borrow one. Just dont go crazy and over-tighten anything.

Cute but drawers are hard to open on carpet and on the stairs the drawers are a little off which makes it hard to open and close.
