I had bought a bed for my son from another site, I waited too long to assemble it and missed the return window. The other bed was particle board, came with broken pieces, missing a bolt and none of the holes were pre-drilled. I found this bed after doing a Google search and it was recommended in an article and the reviews looked promising. When I opened the box the first thing I noticed was that the styrofoam packing was sealed in plastic, while I dont like the additional plastic, I loved not having to clean up all the bits of styrofoam. The bed was super easy to assemble, everything is clearly marked and it has great instructions. It is also very sturdy and will hold up well with an 8 year old who loves jumping on the bed. Its also really easy to move around. Im really happy with this purchase.
Recently broke the old bed frame on a different manufacturer/model bed. (Welding gave out. made in China stuff never lasts long. the legs were literally losing the welds and the slats broke).
love how simple this bed was to assemble and put together. the metal slats add a ton of durability over the wooden ones. and the rating on this bed is for up to 1000 Lbs.
the assembly took me and mine about 30 minutes out of the box. very simple and easy to assemble. the screws and the screwdriver should be higher quality however, they look like they may crossthread or strip easy but no issues during assembly. will update throughout usage.
Overall design and engineering except for slat width that were designed more for frame rigidity/strength rather than support of memory foam mattress. Recommend adding plywood underlayment.
Excellent quality. Very sturdy all metal design. Simple to read instructions that were easy to follow. Everything lined up, nothing was off so there were no headaches putting this together. Very happy with this brand.
