My opinion besides sticky tape would be rubber material, but understanding mass production its more cost-effective that way.
The bed arrived a day early. It was packaged in a double box with styrofoam in between pieces to assure safety! It was super easy to put together. The tape on the slats helps prevent sliding. It is sturdy and sleek. The rounded edges add to the sleek look while preventing injury!

I would 100% recommend this bed frame. It is very simple to put together, and it is very sturdy. I am a bigger gal(nearing 400lbs) and always worry about the weight capacity of bed frames and I have not had a single problem with the frame.
