I will be returning this stool because even though it might support a 600 person, the seat area is so small that only a petite person would be comfortable sitting on it. My granddaughter (5’ 6” and less than 110) couldn’t get comfortable on it either.
This is a stout stool, easy to carry and super heavy duty. It for sure holds 500s and does so confidently, honestly it probably could hold 700! Its not wide enough for big butts to sit between the rails so you gotta position yourself so the rails follow down your thighs, but doing that makes this comfortable for hours of sitting at my kids wrestling match. But with confidence!!
The stool is great felt secure seating and is higher than some stools but about three months in the bottom cross piece of the legs spot weld brakes and it becomes very unstable. I have bought the 2 pack twice and has happened to all of them. I use them at work sit on them 4 to 8 time for 30 min each then load and go each day for six days a week.
Seller is awesome they replaced the stools so I’m going to up stars to 5 they have lasted longer
I really liked everything about this stool. It seemed like it would meet my needs. But the very first time I used it while on the trip I bought it for, one of the straps came loose. It didnt break, the loop at the end of the strap is intact, it just came loose, and it cant be reattached because whatever they connect to is completely enclosed.
Very disappointed, and concerned about how this will affect my trip. I have bad knees, and the entire point of the stool was to always have a seat handy in case one of my knees starts to go out.
I bought one of these about 5 years ago. Since then I have bought 3 more. They are all great, the quality has not changed with the newer stools. I originally bought this before I had my hip replaced. I like going fishing and hunting, and I needed a way to be able to sit and rest when I went pretty far. I rigged a shoulder strap from a messenger bag to fit this with small bungie cords and it worked well. Now, I just use them as fishing chairs, or hunting blind stools. The legs work well in sand at the beach when you are fishing. They are tall enough that I can get up easily. I keep one hanging on hooks on the sand cart I use to carry my surf equipment, and I still use the carry strap to take one when I go hunting out in the woods. They also work good around the house when you need a stool to sit on while you assemble something. It is very strong and it looks like it can last indefinitely. The one I bought in 2018 has been used a lot in the woods and on Cape Cod beaches while surf fishing and it still going strong.
