Assembly was fairly straightforward and easy. Our kiddo loves being able to survey his kingdom from on high. We all especially love the stairs — super easy for him to get up and down on his own, even in the dark.
It’s a great bed for my daughter. It was fairly easy to assemble. It’s very sturdy. You could use the underneath for storage if you want. My daughter prefers to have a fort under it!
It took two people to out together but could have been done with one. My only real complaint is some of the wood on it is pretty cheap and the other is a bit better quality.
This is such a game-changer for my son. School in the time of covid is challenging enough. Adding a place to do the actual work in a small space was key.
My son is 13 and 170 lbs (not fat, just SOLID). We needed to add extra slats under the mattress. The slats that come with the bed are pretty thin and bent A LOT when he was laying down - we were genuinely worried they were going to snap.
Other than that, this is a great loft!! Takes a few hours to put it together, and it takes at least two people, but well worth it.
Drawings are in mirror image {backwards and reverse} really weird. The long bench piece was cracked but built it anyways (not gonna stop building because one piece was cracked). Not enough tiny screws for the backing material but I always keep extra hardware for this situation. Overall my girl was really pleased with it, I like it. Not for toddlers that would climb on it!

Great loft! But reinforce the slats
