I bought this for some gardening work. It seems just right — height, size. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the corners are sort of crunchy on the thighs. So, I sit on it caty-cornered, which is why I gave it four stars.
This is exactly what I needed! I am a music therapist, when I go to patients homes I sometimes have to sit in wheelchairs, walkers, or arm chairs. All of these hurt my back when I tried to play the guitar. I bought the stool about three months ago and it is the best investment I’ve ever made for my business.

Not heavy duty
I sent this with my son (180 lbs) to a scouting event and it cane back stretched out and sitting very low. I think the 300 lb rating is not accurate.
Too hard to fold up
Had to have assistance folding it back up into its carry bag. Sent it back.

The match to my butt is off as it has a hard corner. But otherwise a good product

I suffer from siatica and need to sit while out hiking. This is lightweight and very sturdy. Just wish it had a carry strap
