This little folding seat is surprisingly sturdy. I bought for use while fishing and It fits the bill nicely. Easily holds weight of 400 lbs. The only thing I do not like is that it is NOT made in the u.s.a.
I am giving this a 5 star but seriously while it did work hold my fat behind standing on it. Be careful up there. it straight up clamped on my leg and I had to go to the emergency room. While it it very sturdy most of the time remember it is a folding chair and can only do so much. For reference I am 65 and 370 and was loading stuff on to my roof rack and used this. It worked great the other 20 times I used it to do this but still...
This is a well designed and Sturdy Chair. When sitting on it, even for a big guy, it does not move or creak or feel as if it might give way. Being quiet in the chair is important when viewing wildlife or hunting. The height is important too! I dont feel like Im sitting too low and makes getting up easier and quieter too. My only wish is that it had some sort of method to attach a strap. I like to sling my old stool over a shoulder to take to the fields and woods. I overcame this by using an old strap from a laptop bag run through the the two end seat straps. Im still giving it 5-Stars as that is not a deal breaker!
Received this folding stool, and it is everything it claims. Super sturdy, well made, etc. Unfolded, it is 17 inches tall with a 14 x 14 inch base. Folded up, it is 22 x 14 x 2 inches. It isnt light--dont even think about taking it backpacking--weighing in at 4.4 pounds (2kg). There is also a medium size stool, same design. Its only 15 inches tall and lighter, but the pictures look nearly identical. If you want the 17 inch height, make sure you order the right one.
This is the best folding stool I have ever seen or used. When I received it and used it for hunting I immediately ordered a second one. Light and extremely sturdy.
It’s a good folding stool for fishing or one more person to sit at your home if you don’t have a space. It’s sturdy and fit anywhere. Price might be little cheaper since the materials they are using are not expensive.

Very low to ground. Not good for older people. I am 65. I can’t get it back into carry bag.
