The bed came very well packed. The end of the box was ripped open when it arrived, but still, everything seemed to be there and nothing damaged. I was able to put it together by myself. My knees aren't the best so I used a small bench to sit on and just moved it around to the corners. I followed the instructions that came with it. It's definitely solid wood and really sturdy. I wish it had a headboard but I can easily build one for it. The mattress is a 14 in box mattress from Costco and the rug I purchased from Home Depot (came in 3 days vs the 2 weeks shipping was going to take).
The bed itself is very nice looking. It IS made in China, not Spain or other countries like the video tries to mislead you. The packaging and labelling of the screws needs work but you can see which ones are mislabelled but are really the same size. The middle support bar for the length of the bed seems fine (other's have complained) but then again I don't have nightly gymnastics ;) going on the test it in that way. For me (5'8) it's just the right height for my comfort with no boxspring. Has a more boho look due the the leg shape and wood tomes, but I like it. Goes well here in my Hawaii bedroom. I put most of it together myself, but it really was easier once I had some help to finish the last tasks and moving it into position. Definitely worth the money.
This replaced the metal bed frame i bought from Purple when I got my mattress from them, this does not creak or squeak at all, easy to assemble and very sturdy. I'm very happy with my purchase and may Purples extremely poor excuse for a bed frame R.I.P.
This bed was easy to put together, solid wood ( therefore not cheap crummy particle which could break) and took us under 30 minutes to put together start to finish. Instructions are clear and a separate bag with a couple spare screws and washers was a nice touch. King was truly king and no issues with our existing split foundation and mattress. The Velcro on the sides and slats made the slat placement easy. Used the suggested hack of putting a slice of the thin packing material between each wood-to-wood joint. Well worth it for well under $300 for a king bed.
It's always a bit of a pig in a poke buying something like this online. I gotta say that this turned out way better than I'd hoped. First, the quality of the materials was top notch. The wood was well milled and finished. But mostly what impressed me is just how very well designed and machined it was. All the holes matched up, all the parts were included and well labeled. The instructions were clear and simple. Lastly, it sits rock solid on my bedroom carpet. I'll update if anything changes, but I'm guessing this relatively inexpensive frame is going to do nicely.
I always appreciate when a company takes the time to add little touches of convenience with the customer in mind.
The styrofoam that was protecting each piece was sealed into plastic bags so tiny bits of foam didn't end up all over the place while unpacking.
The hardware was packed into one of those cards with plastic sealing in the nuts/bolts which were each labeled with the letter corresponding to the appropriate step in the instructions (which were clear and easy to follow).
Each piece was labeled with number that corresponded to the appropriate step as well.
The piece looked identical to the pictures. It is sturdy and beautiful. It came 4 days after I placed the order despite being shipped ground. All around I am so impressed and pleased!

This is something that will last- which, honestly, I didn't expect for the price. The other bonus is that you don't need to have a box spring- we purchased a 12 or 14 mattress and it sits at the perfect bed height (in my opinion).
I have really been enjoying my bed frame. I'm an older woman with back problems and I can easily get out of bed in the morning. I have a foam mattress and I enjoy not having to have a box spring with it. It's very sturdy and can hold an overweight person, like myself, I'm over 200 lbs and I have no problems with it.
