We tested this out on day one, and not a peep! My husband said it was pretty easy to assemble. I've not heard this frame make any type of noise. We're using our King mattress, plus the box springs - and we've not had any issues. Definitely recommend.
These are incredibly easy to assemble. A combination of the way the assembly is engineered and the good materials make these beds (I bought two) something I will likely keep forever, passing on through my son's family and his family. They can be folded up easily for storage and reassembled. The instructions are almost not necessary at all because the design is so intuitive. There is a mild smell, as I have come to expect from anything from China, but it is mild, and I didn't smell it after a couple of hours. I really think it was just the packaging that smelled. The beds frames are not materials that hold smells.
So its not like the mattress slides so much that youll fall off the bed, more like the mattress slides a couple inches (even without having relations) which is just enough so that you stub your toe or bang your leg going around the corner of the bed. So yes, I have to push the mattress back onto the frame pretty much every morning. Also, I only had about an 11.75 height for under the bed storage… and have come to find that most storage bin options are either 13 tall or 9 tall. Also, I added a bed skirt because who wants to see that mess under the bed (hey maybe thats why the mattress slides?!)?
The delivery took a month, but it worth the wait. Our son lobed it so much. Also it is very good material. Note that it is not so easy to assemble because some parts are heavy.
Our son outgrew his crib, and still was an all over the place sleeper. This is the best solution! He still feels independence of a big bed, but has the security of the sides around him. I couldnt be happier. My husband assembled the bed by himself, until the roof. You definitely need to people to lift it up and keep in place.

I was a little bit concerned by some reviews especially about paint smell but decided to give it a try.
Pros:
Easy to assemble, I took me 2 hours (almost) alone.
Very sturdy, I was surprised by the quality of the construction and the painting, this is built to last.
Beautiful bed, I cannot describe how much my daughter was excited when she saw the bed.
Cons:
The boxes are huge, like really huge ! I live in an elevator building with a service elevator and one of the box could not fit. I had to unpack the box so I could put the parts in the elevator.
The bed is really heavy and some parts require 2 persons to lift to be put together.
The instructions are mostly drawings and would be better with some short explanations.
I am overall very satisfied with my purchase.
Ordered the bed and never received it. Ordered it AGAIN and received one of three boxes. Was a huge hassle and now back at square one. Huge waste of time. The box smelled horrible of chemicals and fresh paint and had a formaldehyde sticker. A cute bed but such a disaster and didnt work out.
