I was looking for a loft bed for my grandchildren. I didnt want it to be too high. And I wanted it to be built well to last. Delta products always fit the bill. This loft bed exceeded my expectations. And I made a little play area underneath with a television mounted to the wall, and toy storage. They love it.
We had issues with the items being damaged during shipment. The seller was quick to send replacements, but the replacements were missing pieces. A support rail for the mattress in one and the locking piece for the bed rail off of the other. They are very modern looking and my boys love them.
My son LOVES his new bed! It took my step-dad a couple hours to assemble, so be aware of that. But the quality is really excellent. I love how it's lower than a normal bunk style bed, so it's safer for my 5 year old. I feel completely comfortable with him sleeping here. The height is perfect, so there is room for stuff underneath, like toy storage or a fort!
I was torn between this loss bed and another for my daughter who is quite little. I ended up choosing this one because of the reviews. It arrived early and the assembly was extremely, extremely easy. When I say easy, I mean easy. I am seven months pregnant and I was able to put all of this together by myself, not to mention I am only 5 feet tall. Lol. My daughter absolutely loves his bed and I would recommend this to anyone!
The bed is perfect for our daughter. It's not too high but high enough to have functionality underneath it! I can even sit under it without hitting my head! The bed is sturdy and was easier than expected to put together with 2 people!
This took about 4 hours to assemble by myself - or wait - with the assistance of a 5 yo helper. If you can do it with two adults (or adult and teenager) it would probably be faster. The screws and such are packaged and labeled nicely, so you just open the areas as you go to access the correct hardware. The boards are all labeled with sticker letters. You do want to pay attention with the main frame, that you are putting the board correctly on that hosts the ladder. The bed is sturdy once put together. We used an 8-depth mattress and that seems about right, safety-wise, if you want the bedrails to be useful. I would suggest either a 6 or 8 mattress. A 10 depth mattress may be a little high for the bedrails to provide much security.
Our 6-year-old daughter wanted a new bed, and we went on and let her pick which bed. Of course, she wanted a really tall loft bed. She finally settled on this one and I checked reviews but was still skeptical.
The hardware and materials used in this bed are top notch. holes drilled well, all perfectly lined up. The hardware was all metal to metal so no need to worry about stripping out wood or plastic. The instructions were so easy to follow. I was able to complete 99% alone. One particular part of their process that really showed me that I will have nothing to worry about quality of this product was the way the bed slats were pre-assembled to just roll out perfectly spaced apart.
My only complaint and it is a very, very minor one is that the bolt heads do not have covers to hide their locations. Mild aesthetic inconvenience and the only complaint from me.

Love these beds
The parts were poorly marked, some of the letters that were stamped on the parts, were impossible to read.
Just the Right Height
