It took my husband about an hour and a half to build. We didnt have too many issues except we had a hard time getting the screws in for the rails (only spots without precut holes) and the wood is pretty soft. We had a dent in one piece before we even finished and we were trying to be really careful but thats on us. My son loves it and loves making forts under it. Very well built
Overall, this is a nice bed, but getting all the pieces was a pain. I had to order a replacement because several pieces were cracked and werent usable. The bed is pine instead of oak, so I you trade sturdiness for a lighter weight.
I was able to assemble it by myself, which was nice, but I feel I need to add supports because the slats bend more than they should.
I wish I had purchased either a metal bed or oak instead. Its a cute looking bed, but Id prefer safety over looks. For the price I expect better directions and quality
My toddler loves her big girl bed! My only complaint is the lack of thought in the design of the ladder / that second step is in the worst possible spot making it difficult to climb and little toes get stuck (look at the product photo, youll see what I mean). Not a deal breaker and still a great bed for the money. GREAT LOVE IT!!!
Pretty easy to assemble. Very cute, sturdy bed for a toddler/ older child. Im sure my girls will outgrow this eventually, but it is nice for a 3year old. We love it
Great value for the money ! Would have given it a perfect review if it werent for one step that should have been earlier in directions. The two 18 numbered rails should have been included in Step 7 instead of Step 9 but everything else was fine. I was concerned about damaged or missing parts but my shipment was in excellent condition. Did not disappoint
