We bought this bed for our little one who is transitioning out of a toddler bed. I researched wood bunkbeds from other sites and this one seem to offer my value. The added slide is a hit with the littles! Assembly was easy after assembling the two ends the rest was pretty straight forward. The only downside is the ladder is removable and the littles like to take it off. Ive seen some with the ladder built into the bed. Wish that was the option for this one. Other than that this bed is a Great Buy! I totally recommend it
Love this bed! Customer service with the company was very helpful with a missing part and the bed is beautiful. It does have a strong smell so I suggested laying out a day or two to air out cant praise it enough!
We bought this for our daughters who share a small room in our apartment. It has made their room so much more spacious and easier to fit their toys and play in! I highly recommend spending just a bit more on THIS bed because it is worth it! It is so sturdy, and safe. I loved the way the videos showed a real company with real employees explaining how to set it up. It did take a bit to get it together, but it was made very well and you know its safe. Glad to know we will have this for many years to come as our family grows. Its so darn cute too! still feels plenty sturdy
We purchased this bunk bed set to put in a spare room for when grandchildren come to visit. It took 2 of us about 2 hours to assemble. The directions were complete and clearly written. Bolts and screws, etc. were individually packaged and labeled which is very helpful as some are very close in size to others. The assembled beds are very sturdy and could easily support an adult is necessary. It comes in a single, very large, sturdy box. The price is considerably less than any comparable beds we saw in stores. Im very happy with this purchase. Comes as shown in picture.
I assembled this bed by myself in a few hours. The wood seems to be high quality and there is no squeaking when my son climbs onto the top and very little movement at all. I liked this style because the bottom bunk is just barely off the ground, so the toddler can get in and out easily, but his mattress isnt laying directly on the floor. Highly recommend! Be sure to have it
I absolutely love this bed for toddlers!! I dont have to worry if my babies will harm themselves because it is low enough for them. The instructions were perfect! I didnt get confused at all
Purchased after a much cheaper IKEA bed was canceled at the last minute before delivery without explanation. Called IKEAs terrible customer service and was told the bed was out of stock. Okay, thanks for not telling me that in the refund email and waiting until right before my delivery window to send refund / cancellation notice.
Anyway, this bed kicks ass. My kids love it and play in their room more which is a nice plus. We have foam mattresses on it and they dont fill the whole bed exactly but we dont notice it, because the cracks are lined with plushies. Bed is sturdy and good looking. Needs better support
First off let me just say, this has to be the cutest little bunk bed Ive ever seen. For space saving and safety reasons this is perfect for little ones. I decided to go with this lower bunk bed because one of my kids has seizures and this was the perfect height for me to still be able to reach up at the top bunk without a problem (Im 52 and Im taller than the bed) if need be without a struggle. I also didnt screw down the ladder directly on the bed so I could remove it during the day so they werent playing around on it.
I also read through the comments before buying it and saw many people suggested to double up on the bunkie boards and I have to agree. I put both on the top bunk for extra support and then just went and bought boards from Home Depot to make slats for the bottom. Which you can make them wider and thicker so you dont have to use very many; I bought 1 board and had it cut into 5 slats. Would highly recommend this bunk bed!
To the company though, I would highly suggest putting words on your directions also instead of just pictures. It would be more helpful for some people. As Im a single mom, I put things together better when I can actually read the words of what I need and pictures to see how to do it. But thats a minor issue. very pleasantly surprised
