We just recently moved and my 6 year olds room is pretty small. We really wanted to maximize the space and give him a loft so he could store toys underneath and push his stuffies and s under when people came over. We also bought a really cute curtain for the bottom to cave it in so he could make a cool like hideaway spot. This took my husband about an hour to put together. I had to get up on there when making the bed so it feels sturdy. Its also easy to move which is nice because we are not sure which wall we want to put it against until we get the dresser in here. My son is super duper excited about his big boy bed and loves being high up. At the same time its chest level so us so he doesnt feel super far away to tuck in or kiss goodnight. Happy we choose white as it goes with everything.
After waiting days for the assembly instructions to arrive we were able to put the bed together. It is NOT all made of real wood. Dont snug the screws or it will damage the pressed wood. We had to add a sold piece of wood over the slats to make it strong enough to support my 4 year old. It is a nice bed. Very sturdy now after adjustments. Easier to assemble with two people. I do recommend this bed. Ive uploaded pictures of the assembly instructions in case someone else is missing theirs . Good quality, looks fantastic
I was hesitant at first...I mean, its hard to know when to take the toddlers out of their little toddler beds and put them into big boy beds. This was actually a perfect compromise. Its twin sized, so not overly large that they have problems sleeping with so much space. It also isnt as high as a regular bunk bed. I cant tell you how much more at ease that makes me. Im able to still lift my sons into the top bunk when they end up falling asleep cuddling me. The bottom area is large enough for me to sit with them on a floor pad and read a book before bed or have the boys stretch out their car mat and play with their beep beeps.
The actually assembly went really quick once all the pieces were laid out. The instructions were easy to read and the images matched up to what was supposed to be done. All the parts where there and everything fit without breaking or bending. The bed itself is pretty sturdy, even when one of the boys jumped off of it already, of course. The twin mattress fits well, no huge gaps or not fitting at all. And the ladder is very firmly screwed in place. No movement at all when the little monkeys climb up and down.
This bed is so cute! It took me about two hours to put together. It is sturdy enough for me (125lbs) to get in with my toddler (30 lbs) each night at bed. Only thing I wish was that the screws were hidden or came with the covers. Very well made and great design
My younger daughter has a very small loft area bedroom and not a lot of space. She had a twin bed but there wasnt a lot of room for anything else in the room besides her bed and a dresser. We were looking for a loft bed that was off the ground so that she could fit a few items underneath it and it would definitely create more space. I purchased this bed and it looks super nice! The white color matches her white trim room!
Assembly was fairly easy The instructions were good but my hubby also looked up some YouTube Videos that were helpful!
My daughter weighs about 110 pounds and the bed is definitely sturdy enough for her and maybe possibly more weight. She really likes it and it is definitely perfect for her compact room and has added a lot more space. And it looks super cute in her bedroom. If you are looking for a loft bed to create more space This one would be perfect for you. We definitely recommend it!
Absolutely a piece of crap. They say its made of wood and ya the LEGS are wood. EVERYTHING else is EXTREMELY cheap and flimsy particul board.
You cant even hand tighten the bolts without them trying to rip out of the partical board.
It is a hunk of junk.
The color I ordered was the espresso and it came almost completely black. Very cheaply painted. And even the maker knows it is a flimsy piece of crap because they put massive safety stickers on the headboard AND the footboard that are impossible to remove without leaving a mess and scratches all over.
Seriously you would have a much better product if you spent the $200 on materials and made the bed yourself. Well engineered, good quality and great looking.
My sons room is very small and awkward, and it has seemed that no matter how we arrange it, the bed would always take up too much space. It also didnt fit correctly on any of the available walls. We gave up on the traditional bed we already had for him and decided we needed something that could act as a space-saver, while also being a functional bed.
Thats what this loft bed is, and its such a genius idea! Plus, its an exciting and fun new big bed for our 4 year old.
My husband and I built it together. It took a little bit of time, but nothing out of the ordinary for this type of furniture. It came together beautifully, and we are super happy with how it looks in the space! It fits just right on the wall we wanted it to be on. Its just the right height (for us).
The stair ladder is very sturdy. In fact, the entire bed as a whole is sturdy, and not wobbly at all, even when my son is moving all around on it, as a 4 year old does. I havent heard any creaking, which is sometimes an issue with other furniture.
The wood is painted white and its nice and smooth- no rough edges or snaggy parts that could hurt my son in any way. I didnt see any visible chips or scuffs or stains on the wood. It looks really nice to me and I think it elevates the look of the whole room- it doesnt look as babyish as it did before.
My son has gotten an absolute kick out of this new bed of his! He loves climbing up and getting in- he even arranged all his stuffed animals on the bed the way he wanted them.
It took him a few tries to get used to going up and down the ladder, but he got the hang of it in no time.
I like that the rails are a good height to keep him safe from rolling out of bed, so I dont have to worry.
The best part is all the space you save underneath! As a mom, I love it so much because we have complete available floor space now. We could eventually use it for toy storage or set up a little reading nook area, but for now weve been loving using it as a special fort play area. Im 58 and I can sit under it with him to play without having to hunch over, which would hurt my back. (And I have even used the extra space to sit and sort laundry.)
This loft bed is definitely a game changer for us! I cant wait to start re-decorating his room around it. Well be getting another one for our younger son once hes older.

Good Bed for the Cost

Super cute
Turned just right for us it was just as expected and my 2 year old loves it! Wish it was a little bit sturdier. Excellent value for money
Dont waste your money
Screw on part B conecting it to part D and E did not sit flush. Upon putting it together it broke through part B.
Very pleased with size and sturdiness

Creates so much extra usable space! Very functional.
