Kind of a bummer. My biggest issue is the wheels. Hoping the seller sees this and can send out a new set of wheels as mine barely turn and its honestly really difficult to wheel around. Not ergonomically designed at all. The back part permanently leans back so you arent sitting up straight.
All packaging was protective and arrived fast protected. Assembly was easy with easy to read instructions even as building it alone you can move the item into your favor. All screw slots aligned perfectly. This does tilt with a little leg effort, but ok with as im not a fan. Support is aming! Very thick and cushioned for comfort. Color is just as pictured. Beautiful stylish grey with soft material. Very in love with my new work chair!!
I read the reviews and was concerned about the chair noise and the color of the fabric. I love this chair! Its much more comfortable than my previous office chair, the gray is exactly what I wanted, and my chair doesnt make any noise. I like being able to raise the arms and I like that the back of the chair is tall.the back of my head can rest on it easily.
Comfortable and fairly easy to assemble. I bought this for my wife, because she is playing online, I am thinking about getting my office to come to a chair. Assembly is a bit difficult, but I like to have difficult challenges!
I put together myself but it would have been easier with 2 people. Most difficult part of assembly was attaching back / make sure to line up all 4 holes before tightening screws. If doing yourself, push chair against wall, block casters from moving and thread long thin nails or screws into the holes to support the back while you insert and tighten screws. The chair does not lean as other reviewers have noted. I weigh 175 and have no problem with the cushion flattening. Love the retractable arms and the high height of the seat as I am short and need extra lift to be comfortable at my desk. Recommend putting a little glue on the cover caps before placing so they dont pop out.
I really like the material its made out of. I can be really particular about materials and often feel an uncomfortable sensation with certain materials, so I was really happy with how soft the outer material was. I bought this because I kept having leather chairs that would keep peeling, so a material like this seemed more ideal. I also like that the chair can raise quite high off the ground, so theres a big range of adjustment that can be made for different people. The back of the chair didnt go up quite as high as I was hoping though, so I cant exactly rest my head back unless I slouch (Im 59 for reference).
The padding on the seat and back seems decent. Its not the softest Ive felt in a chair, but it was good enough most of the time. Sometimes though, if Im sitting too long leaning back while watching TV or a movie or whatever (I use the chair for both my computer and TV), my back can kind of start feeling a bit stiff, making me want to grab a pillow to put behind my lower back. I think this is partially because its just not a good enough ergonomic design, but also due to the padding not being quite soft enough for that added comfort.
The padding in the arm rests also seems to be of lesser quality. I sometimes lean pretty heavily into the arm rests with my elbows, and after just a couple days, I noticed permanent dents in the arm rests that have not gone away. Thankfully I havent noticed this issue in the seat or back, but of course my weight is being distributed more there. I never had this issue with other chair arm rests though, so the design there isnt great, although I do love that you can retract the arms.
One thing thats always annoyed me is that Ive never been able to find a roll chair that doesnt do this: When I lean left or right, the seat never feels perfectly snug in its spot, making little clicks like the bar underneath is moving around rather than staying in place. Pretty much every chair like this Ive owned has had this problem so perhaps its just an inherent issue to the kind of hydraulics or something, not sure.
Overall, the chair is decent, although my older more expensive chair was more comfortable overall. I do hope this material lasts longer than the leather in that chair (and the previous two like it) did. I do worry a bit about the durability of the padding though. If the arm rests collapsed under the weight of my elbow on day one, will the seat have a similar problem after a couple years of use, or less? The seat and back are thicker, so perhaps the padding is better, or perhaps it will last longer but have the same issues. Time will tell.
EDIT: The seller sent me replacement arm rests, but after using them for a while, they ended up having the same problem. The creakiness of the chair also got louder and more annoying over time. I solved this myself by ordering a new gas cylinder, although it was difficult to get the stock one out. Id say overall the chair needs better padding foam, and a more solidly built cylinder. With those changes I would have been much happier with this chair. While the customer service was nice in offering the replacement armrests, unfortunately the replacements were just as poor quality as the originals, so I can not change my rating from 3 stars.
Well worth the money. Comfortable, well built and adjustable. Only issue I had was assembling the back cushion. I needed a second person to hold it in place while I put the screws in.

Skip it if you are afraid of difficulties!

Somewhat Difficult to Assemble But Worth It
