Very well packaged. Fairly easy to assemble, however, some of the holes are drilled out all the way. So you may need a drill to screw them in. Pretty sturdy for the wood type. Surface does scratch easily so I wouldn’t place anything too sharp in them like the screws, screwdriver, ect. Works beautifully and I love the remote with the different settings for the colors. I would definitely purchase again! *NOTE TO BUYERS* When placing the top on, focus on getting the middle back front in first and then the sides. Otherwise you will have trouble.

We are so happy with this purchase. I have always wanted a TV stand and this was the perfect option for our living room. It fits perfect and is not overwhelming. Assembly was not too hard and was a 1 person job. We are thrilled as this exceeding our expectations!
We are VERY pleased with this though due to weak packaging my top board was cracked all the way across. HOWEVER their customer service made it right and got a new top to me in only a week so our disappointment was short. I've ordered at least 25 build-it products online and most are "manufactured wood" like particleboard, pressboard, or chipboard. Packaging for these has to be extremely sturdy and carefully designed to avoid breaking the long boards in transit. If this company got their packaging quality up to the quality of the product itself they'd arrive perfect every time. But the product itself is five star!
