Cute, but would NOT buy again

I really wanted to love this frame. It was exactly what my daughter needed for her room. The box is extremely heavy, and probably should be split into two for delivery. Upon initial inspection, I noticed several pieces were damaged inside the manufacturer packing of the box. I reached out to the mfg, and after jumping through some hoops they shipped the replacement parts (from Canada) and arrived in one week (to Arizona). Unfortunately, of the 7 pieces I needed, 4 arrived damaged and 2 were the complete wrong parts. Repeat 3 more times (seriously), each replacement taking a week. After a month, I finally gave in and made the frame even with a damaged part (cosmetic). It was nearly impossible to make solo, but after a few hours I finally got it. Be sure to have hex wrench bit for your drill as the tiny wrench they provide will kill your fingers. And be prepared for a little extra force as not all holes line up perfect. Once built, it's cute and functional. A little squeaky, but functional. Overall, I would NOT buy this again. Just too many issues to make it worth it. Oh, and the ladder can NOT be placed on either side (design flaw in my opinion). It's right side only.

    Works for Me

I received the item as promised. Though I read that you need two people to put the bed up, I did it alone because I have no one to help me. It took me 4 hours to do alone. All of the parts were present and all pieces fit as indicated in the instructions which were very clear. The bed does squeak and move a little when you move around in it. I had to get rubber padding for the ladder steps. Overall, I am pleased with the product.

    Just what I wanted

I received this item pretty fast. Takes A LOT of patience. It took me alone about 4 hours to assemble. There’s a key that is used for most of the bolts. My thumb hurt so bad after I was done. I needed a loft with a desk that was not too big for a small apartment bedroom. It was perfect! My daughter loves her new bed. Desk is nice and sturdy for virtual learning.

Just as good as a wood loft bed!

I shopped for HOURS for a loft bed for my daughter. Read hundreds of reviews and different beds and this one had by far the best reviews....and now I know why. It looks EXACTLY like the picture they show you. Its not thin flimsy (which was my fear). I actually wanted a wood one because I thought it would be safer/sturdier but this one is great. My kid loves it and it actually saves room in her room. She has a small room and i was afraid it would make it look smaller...its literally same dimensions as a twin bed so its like having your bed in the air and being able to use the space under it. Downside: The ladder...its very awkard to get up and down and narrow so we are thinking about adding one that can clip on or off. Otherwise great loft bed!!

    Fantastic bed for the price

I spent a few weeks reading reviews, looking at local yardsale sites and I decided this was the best value. I felt it was important to buy this new, as it needed to be sturdy and have all the parts. This bed is incredibly strong and well built. It was super easy to put together. You can see other sellers on and elsewhere with the same model bed for a lot more as well. The package this came in was far too heavy for me to move. I could barely even slide it at all. There was a point in the assembly process that I don’t think is possible by yourself. Luckily someone came over as I got to that point! I have no complaints. They provided extra hardware which is always awesome and appreciated.

    Perfect loft bed!

I spent a long time deciding on the right loft bed for my 7 year old and chose this due to the size (not too high or wide) and the material (sturdier steel vs wood.) Only one day in but couldn’t be happier. My son (And his little brother) are so happy. Got a 6-in mattress and added a foam topper and that works fine with the safety rails. Also love that the ladder steps are flat. Took 2 hours to put together. I could have done it alone but was helpful to have my husband at the end once we were connecting things at the end.

Keep bolts loose until all pieces are on.

I suppose this isn't the best bed, but it does what it needs to do. I think my 12 year old would rated it 5 stars. She loves it. The 2 of us put it together ourselves. I will say this- do not tighten the bolts all the way until all the pieces are on. I was disappointed because I scratched the pole a lot trying to get the last guardrail on. I had to loosen about 8 bolts in order to get that rail to fit. The latter is hard on the feet. She doesn't mind. It also wiggles a lot when getting on and off. She was nervous at first but got used to that quickly.

    It’s good

I think this was the only bed I could find that didn’t have reviews that mentioned compromised stability over time. I have good faith in this one over any Masonite or fake wood loft beds. It takes a while to put together by yourself. About 4 hours for me since I’m slow and kept re-reading and eyeballing the directions. It’s absolutely better with another person. Eventually I did need help. After everything was put together, I can tell you it feels very secure. It wobbles with movement, but not to any concerning degree. It’s a reasonable amount for a bed high off the ground. There’s no squeaking either, I made sure things were screwed tight. I didn’t find it necessary, but they include brackets to secure this to the wall if you’d like. If it helps any I’m 5’6 and 230LBs and I feel safe. I read reviews saying to pad the ladder steps, so I used cut pool noodles, and that does wonders. I think the only thing that sucks is climbing the ladder. Like I said I’m 230 and it stays put when I hop up, but I think an angled ladder would do well if you ain’t got the strength to pull yourself to the top. All in all I’m very happy with this bed, and find it comfortable to work under. It’s absolutely saving me some space in my room.

    Shakes but super cute

I think you (and we) should add crossbars. It’s awfully shaky, but I don’t think it’s coming apart. I do wish we could get a bottom cover included so the sheets don’t poke through the slats. The point of the see is to go underneath! Requires two people to build so one can hold parts up. I was holding a few areas - hope you have long arms!!!
