My daughter LOVES her small room now! Not difficult to put together. Make sure you have plenty of ceiling height to turn it right side up when assembling. We didnt, but figured it out. VERY sturdy!
If youve read of the difficulties some have experienced putting this together, expect the same for yourself. Otherwise, weve had it a year and still holds up fine. Not wobbly, no bent bars, etc.
My daughter loves this bed, with one exception...the ladder. It is a bit inconvenient to use the way that it is attached to the frame. It would work better Id the top of the bed frame had an opening where the ladder is, also dont care for the round tines. love the computer portion of the bed and the look of it!
Like:
1. a bit shorter than the IKEA one so I can sit up in bed
2. I can pretend Im sleeping in a treehouse because Im 36 years old and I do what I want
3. Extra floor space, weee!
4. It matches my aesthetic
5. Not terrible to assemble by ones self
Dislike:
1. Climbing the ladder barefoot is like stepping on a thousand Legos
2. My cats cant get up there and are devastated, I had to carry them.
3. It kinda seems like some pieces that shouldve/couldve been symmetrical, actually arent. This is a different vibe than ikea assembly instructions for sure.
4. Im 110 pounds and it shakes slightly when I climb in/move. I tightened the screws and now Im lying here trying not to think about it.
5. If I have someone over, we have to sleep under the bed.
That said, Im in 350 square feet of space, the ikea model was too tall, my budget was $300, and I think this was a good call!
The beds came not damaged at all it has a nice shiny look to it overall I loved this purchase Ive had these bunk beds for over 2 years now and it was really easy to assemble.
For the price this bed is good and it does free a lot of space for smaller rooms. My daughter enjoys it. We do have to tighten the screws about twice a month due to them coming loose
I got this bed for my. 7 year old son. He loves. It. Its sturdy enough for him. Love that its a good hight underneath . When hes not on his bed hes usually under it the assembly how ever did take. 3+ hours. Alot of the. Holes dnt really line up. I had my dad buliding it so he forced them in i dnt think i would have been able to build it. Alone . Shelves are sturdy also , have had this for about 3 years now still going strong

Looks good, feels solid
Clean, simple design. Nothing fancy. Looks good, feels solid. I used service for assembly.
