the Loft bed-frame has helped open up my tiny living space. the only thing that i can complain about is the ladder/stairs. They kind of hurt my feet climbing up and down them, but after buying a pool noodle and cutting them to fit the stairs/ladder, its fine.
Okay, bought these to free up some space in the kids rooms....you know - because they already hide stuff under the bed to begin with. These were easy to assemble, and look good. pretty sturdy. I think they should have come with pads for the ladder, but I grabbed up some pipe insulation from Home Depot and fixed that oversight. The floor to bottom of bed clearance seems a bit short to me, but then again, I am 62, and it seems to work for the kids.
I am a 60 year old female and was able to assembly on my own. Reminded me of the old erector sets. I did put the pipe covering on ladder trends as another user recommended.
Surprised that this bed isnt in ikeas stock.I went thru two ikeas and havent seen a bed as good as this one. Ez set up, sturdy and decenlty priced. It arrived in two days as promised with my prime.
Sturdy bed, futon is easy to switch back and fourth. Instructions are fairly clear but could be a little better. Pay attention as you go to where future holes line up.
Quality is about the level of Ikea. The assembly was a little worse though. Trick is to make sure you leave things loose until the very end - even after you put down the bed slats.
You can clearly see the seems when youre done and it wont pass for nice furniture but it does the job. I only paid $140.
This was easy for me to assemble (Im a 50 woman and did the whole thing myself. I have a bunk bed version of this as well in my sons room. We put this in an office above a desk. The only drawback is that if youre over 4 6, youll bump your head standing under this bed. Otherwise, aside from it being a little wobbly when my son climbs up, it works fine. I am considering anchoring it to the wall for extra security.
My son loves this bed. It took us a little while to put it together but it was fun! We kept the front rail off since he is a teenager to make it easier for him to get up and down.

Didnt last a year.
The Cheap support under the double bed bent. The screws fall out all the time. The ladder disconnected from the railing
Nice, sturdy bed.
