    Nice sturdy bed (EASY ASSEMBLY)

I was skeptic buying this bed and I was considering buying a similar bed at but I didnt and Im glad. This bed was much more sturdy then the one. I was amazed at how little parts and pieces their was and how easy it was to assemble. As soon as the bed was finished I shook it, bounced on it and just did a few more stress tests and it was sturdy as a rock. (Note: Im a 210lb male) I will admit their were two screws that went in a little tight but they did go in so I cant complain. My only advice to anyone who purchases this bed. The instructions tell you to tighten the side rails then install the cross bars (DONT). Screw them in but keep them loose then place the cross bars in one at a time. I learned the hard way but as soon as I did that they set in no problem. I placed the plastic lock tabs tightened the screws and called it a day. I like the bed and I truly feel it will last for a long time.

    Perfect for my spare room

Assembly was tedious, but not difficult. Seems sturdy and I like the look of the rough metal.

Hope this helps in you decision.

When the package arrived it looked as if had served a couple of tours of duty. The cardboard box had huge tears in the flat surfaces and all the corners looked as if the item had been dragged using different corners as each was wore out. When I opened it everything was there, but the back cross support frame had one beam severely bent. This is a beam that has to be screwed into one of the support posts. I was able to bend it back into a somewhat correct position but doing so made the paint flake at the point of the bend. First time Ive had this experience with . Assembly was pretty straight forward. The slats that your mattresses will rest on is the most time consuming part of assembly. Total time to put together was just under 2 hours. Feels sturdy enough for my kids but time will tell how well it holds up. So I guess the real question that anyone should ask themselves when writing a review for others to base their purchasing decision on is Knowing what I know now, would I make the purchase again? I would.

    Good value

Well made for the most part. The casters are junk, were leaking ball bearings right out of the box. Intensive assembly with some odd hardware design choices. Plastic clips that hold the support bars in are easily breakable. Included tools are the typical junk. Take the casters to the hardware store and match up some replacements and bring your own tools. Overall a good value. Nice looking and sturdy feeling. We bought this to replace a frame that had bed bugs nesting in the bolt holes. As I assembled this frame, I injected diatomaceous earth into the pipes.

I have this daybed in my guest bedroom. Works well when my children come home to visit. I like how it can sleep two people and doesnt take up as much room as a double bed would in a smaller space.
