My husband and I bought this bed for our small girls as their first "big" beds. The directions were very clear and easy to follow, all the pieces were packaged and arrived intact, easy to put together and all the required hardware was included. All the extra storage is a wonderful plus as this allows their room to be as clutter free as possible. Our girls love their big beds and we often find them playing between the two beds instead of sleeping.
The one cons I can think of is a few of the boards split when we were screwing them into place. They didn't completely break apart but definitely cracked the wood. And the optional top rail is a little wiggly (nothing a few screws wouldn't be able to fix).

This is a good quality bed. Assembly is fairly easy if you have some experience with assembling furniture or fundamental carpentry skills. If you have no experience I would suggest get some help from someone who knows or it might not go so well for you. But all in all it is great and the kids enjoy it.
I’ve been eyeing this bunk bed for a year now, going back and forth on whether I should buy it or not but purchased for our boys’ bedroom.
It’s VERY heavy, our poor FedEx driver had to bring five boxes to our front porch and I had to wait for my husband to come home to help me bring them inside. I would definitely suggest having help bringing them inside.
It took my husband the better part of an entire day to assemble and that wasn’t including the drawers (still waiting for him to assemble those, haha). I will say it was worth the wait though, there’s SO MUCH storage, it’s incredibky sturdy and our boys love it!
The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the stairs only secure to the bunk bed by the back top of the stairs, it would have been nice for them to secure to the bottom of the bunk bed itself as well. It doesn’t affect the function of the bed and our boys are heavy enough for it to be a problem, I’m just a worry wart.
Really awesome bed. The wood smells nice. It solid wood which I love. Has plenty of storage. It will make.it easier for.my kids to share rooms when they come of age and to have a friend be able to stay the night. Took my hubby and brother 5 hrs to assemble the whole thing and thats with a few breaks. Easy to follow instructions, boxes are labeled as to which peice it is and the wood is numbered making it easy to follow instructions. Really great buy.
We've had this bed for over 3 years now and it's held up nicely with no issues. We've used it as bunk beds and as separate beds which have both functioned nicely for our needs.
We put this bed in my kid's room a couple of years ago, and could not be happier. The bed itself is sturdy, REAL wood and solid. It helps you make the most of a small bedroom. We managed to put a desk, a couple of shelves and a small armless cushioned accent chair underneath, to really make the most of the space. The drawers in the stairs are one less piece of furniture to worry about. The mattress sits 52" from the floor, so it definitely helps that my kid is small, and you'll want to be sure to use a standard mattress. Extra tall pillow top style mattresses (12"+) will put the occupant above the bed's side rail. If you're shopping for a loft bed, you won't go wrong with this one.
