Does the job for our 2 boys (ages 4 & 2) it’s a little wobbly but I don’t think they’re in any kind of danger. The weight limit is 250 but I’m not sure if it’s only for the top bunk or for both top and bottom and trundle. I would say go for it!
Overall, this is a good bed. It is made of solid pine. There were a handful of small issues like a scratch here and there and also one of the drawer parts had to be reglued and put back on. The instructions were fairly easy to understand. If I had to buy again, I probably would.
The directions aren’t the easiest to read, but it’s a good solid product. Not all pieces fit perfect. The quality is pretty good, it’s not wobbly at all.
This bed was a perfect present for our four-year-old’s birthday. He is so excited to sleep on the top bunk. We love the storage and the sturdiness of the bed itself. However, it did come with flaws. One of the pieces of the drawers had a significant scratch and both of the under bed drawer fronts had flaws in the paint almost like scratches.
And just as a sidenote: Once you attach the steps to the main bed it is not easily slid because the only way it is anchored is just the back post. It should also be anchored in the front. We had to adjust the bed placement and the stairs quickly pulled away from the bed itself. So be careful!
The drawers do not go the entire length of the bed so in order to cover that I put up a make shift bedskirt to hide it.
Like other reviewer’s mentioned, it did take quite a bit of time to build. However, we built the bed itself on a Friday afternoon/evening so the little man could sleep in it. The drawers and steps were assembled the next morning and we’re done by naptime!
Overall I love this bed. It works great in my girls room. The only thing I'm not too excited about are the boards that hold the mattress. They are full of knots and that makes them weak. We had one board break on the very first day. There were a couple boards that were cut a bit too short and we had to fenaggle them in there. We plan on putting some wood sheeting over them to help support them. The bed was easily assembled, the instructions were clear and it's fairly sturdy. I would get this again even with the not so great support boards. The one star is taken away for the boards. Otherwise everything else is awesome.
This was exactly what my family needed. I had a functioning bunk bed for the 2 girls but the top bunk was on the side and not comfortable to climb up due to the stairs. This bunk bed easily solves that problem and the extra space for the side stair well is a nice little storage system for the girls to put things away in. The trundle bed pulls in and out really easily as it is on wheels and not on a rail system. The only problem I came up with was the extra deep twin mattress I used for the trundle. A 9.5" mattress is a little tight pulling in and out but it can fit....tightly, lol. I also cut into the railing on the stairwell side just so as an adult sized person can also easily access the top bunk such as myself. I can easily attest that an adult, an 11 year old, and a 5 year old can sit on the top bunk safely.
Great bed and very sturdy and attractive looking. It was a monster to put together though. It took my father and I two days to assemble. Just know that you are signing on for a project when you buy this and you will need assistance. It is not a one person job

Value for the money
Great bed. Not to difficult to put together but does take at least 2 adults.
Pretty good bed

Nice bed
My daughter loves it. I feel like the wood is a little cheap. Easily dented but all in all I’m happy with the purchase.
Awesome!
