All of the pieces came in good condition. It took my husband about 9 hours to put it together, he says the directions were lacking detail. It looks great and the drawers under the bed are spacious. It seems pretty sturdy, and overall I feel it is good quality for the price. My 4 year old loves the stairs and the storage cabinet.
This is a gorgeous bed once assembled. I love it (morning after), my husband loves the way it looks, and our daughter has dubbed it her "castle". We gave it a 4 star because assembly isn't easy - specifically, getting the slats to stay in place during assembly. This would have been easier if I was not 8 months pregnant and if my partner were in better shape.
It took us 8 hours total to assemble because I didn't pull up the YouTube video. That was a my bad moment - the instruction manual pictures can be a teensy bit unclear in some areas for the bed portion. 5 hours of this was the bed itself, 3 hours was our daughter trying to help me by playing with the hardware while I assembled the stairs. Both of us were working on the bed portion together because the long pieces are difficult to assemble alone.
We put one side together with first a single side facing the wrong way (it was also upside down but didn't know that yet) and then had to pull apart the side again to flip the two posts. It's the far corner (the one without the stairs)...so it of course has 14 vertical slats which are loose during construction of that side.
I really REALLY wish those dang slats for the bed portion at least were glued or fastened in by the manufacturer, but also understand this would make the box bigger which costs more on shipping....raising costs of the item.
Big things with this:
Use the paper directions as a backup/confirmation of parts list - watch the YouTube assembly video 6-10 times during process.
Don't overtighten the staircase during assembly - check and ensure snugly tightened after stairs are fully assembled. Don't open both boxes at the same time for the stairs/bed - or keep the pieces separate.
Have an electric screwdriver available for the self-tapping screws, it'll save you time on your back/side/knees with the brackets that hold the stairs to the bed.
With the brackets, line up staircase then attach to the bed side first - attach to the stairs with the stairs clamped to the side of the bed tight to get a good snug fit.
WATCH the Youtube video lots and be careful when standing up not to bend your toes the wrong way.
Have someone available to keep your small child busy so they don't play with your bolts, screws, tools or the smaller pieces because they're excited and want to be a part of this/help you.
Bought this bunk bed as a present before Christmas, and it took a lot longer to assembly than I anticipated. Should plan for multiple days and some help from 1 other adult in the house from time to time. After it was finished, the bed is pretty sturdy and has a lot of storage space. It also has a few nice shelves on the side to display things or as extra storage. Power tools definitely needed or you will have blisters afterwards even when wearing work gloves.
This is a great quality bed, very sturdy and beautifully made. When it arrived it is overwhelming to assemble the pieces. There were maybe 2 screws missing but otherwise everything came. The stairs works perfectly for my 4 year old who isn't comfortable with ladders. This is a great solution for younger kids. The extra storage in drawers is also very nice and holds a lot more than I thought. Definitely happy with the quality of the bed.
This is a nice quality bed and a very good price for a SOLID WOOD bed. I refuse to buy pressed board furniture due to the health risks associated with the chemicals they use and this was the perfect alternative. It was pretty easy to put together and I did it by myself. My only critique is that only one of the beds came with a support beam that runs from head to foot of the bed. It has one for the top bunk which makes it very secure but I worry if I were to lay in the bottom bunk to read my kids stories it feels a little flimsy (I weigh 175lbs and my child weighs 30lbs) so that is not really a lot of weight to feel the bed rails flex when you lay down. I wish I had a support beam for the bottom bunk which would take care of this issue and I would have zero complaints otherwise.

Great for the kiddos
Definitely holds together well! Follow directions carefully! Easy to start mixing up screws and parts.
Four Stars
I kinda like it. Affordable price
My daughter loves it. Only issue was that one ...
My daughter loves it. Only issue was that one of the "nuts" came not correct so one screw stayed loose. We had to use a replacement that we found.
Have a LARGE workspace, a partner, and kneepads.

Shake
Make noise when kids are climbing up
It will take multiple days to assemble, but worth it at the end

Sturdy, strong, good quality

Pay for the assembly! You will definitely regret it if you dont.
Putting this thing together was rocket science, other than that its a great product.
