The bed seems very solid. The stairs were a bit beat up and warped and more difficult to assemble as a result, but not bad enough to attempt a return or replace on such a massive item. The bed is shorter than I expected, which is fine for young children, but older children can’t sit up on the bottom bed, and I definitely can’t sit on the edge while putting a child to bed. Wasn’t a fan of the hardware provided (the nuts were funky and some hard to get in, depending on the angle you’re trying to work from). The hex wrenches were cheap and warped easily. Overall it’s a good bed though. I’m happy with the purchase.
I would have given this 5 stars but one piece of wood split when screwing in the bolt. I was going to send a picture to the seller and ask for something but I don't want to go through the hastle. Plus, overall it's a quality piece of furniture. Assembly was time consuming, not difficult, but time consuming.
This is a great bed for low ceilings or if you have a little one that may roll out of bed (the bottom bunk is pretty much floor level). Husband was able to assemble easily with no losses of temper! My issue … one of the boards came broken for the steps. I have emailed the company about a replacement part and will await a response! Pending that may update review to 5 stars!
The bed frame is great but the support boards for the mattresses are terrible. I've only had it for a month and two of them have broken. These are small kids so it doesn't make sense for them to snap. Other than having to replace those boards the bed frame is great.
We bought these for our vacation home and they work perfectly for our space. They seem like decent solid beds for the money, hopefully they hold up over time. They certainly aren’t high-end quality (but I wasn’t expecting them to be at this price point ) as there were some chips and flaws in the paint and have nothing to disguise the bolts. They still look good, and fit the style I was going for. The main issue I have with the beds is the ladder. Its completely vertical (which i did want because the room is small) but its up against the foot board with no space to place your foot fully on each step. You have basically have to climb up on your toes/ball of foot which feels very unnatural and unstable way to climb. Making the top bunk isn’t easy either, the mattress fits snuggly in the top bunk and no way to let blankets hang over the side of the rails because of the wood running down the middle on the side rails. Being short makes it doubly hard to make the top bunk. Being able to slide the bed out from the wall and using a stool makes the process a little easier, but still not a fun time.
The only complaint I have is that the instructions can be a bit confusing at times so I suggest reading all the way through before you start. Also, pay close attention so which side you want the opening for the stairs. They come separately so the instructions for the bunk bed don’t account for the staircase. Other than that I have no issues !
In the end, it looks good and feels sturdy. Putting it together was a nightmare. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the parts were clearly labeled. Some parts were missing a number. Other parts were stamped with a red number and much of them were VERY difficult to read. We were also missing a screw. We had to use one one from our toolbox. But my son loves it! The stairs have storage, which is great.
We love this bunkbed so far! I used to be associate at Ashley‘s furniture so I do know quality and the quality of this bed is very decent for kids. It’s very sturdy, the color is gorgeous, there’s so much storage, and the kids love it! I will agree that the bottom bunk doesn’t have as much room as a typical bottom bunk, however the bottom bunk is for our two-year-old toddler so he’s just comfy with it. We do have four boys and out of the 2– our two oldest ones have a different bunkbed from a different company and there’s seems much more room on the bottom bunk and he is a long eight-year-old. So if you’re planning on buying this bunkbed you’ll just need to consider the space on the bottom bunk. Otherwise, great bed, great storage, easy to put together. My husband took his time but it was very simple and we got it up in two days considering our busy schedules .
Impressive packaging! Seriously I’ve never received something packaged so well, each part of the bed was in a separate box with its own set of directions. This bed takes a lot of time to set up unfortunately but is a nice bed over all, looks good too. The only fault is the stairs, they’re fine as a whole but I can’t walk up them without hearing “cracking” definitely not something I will be going up often.

Solid bed. Stairs were damaged.

Almost Great

Good bed
Great bed. Hard af to put together. If you want a stressful evening try putting it together by yourself with a toddler otherwise its fine
Great except …

Buy support boards...

Great finished product, parts were unclearly marked
