We dont have the biggest of nurseries, so I didnt want a huge, bulky that would overwhelm the room, yet I still wanted a comfy chair to rock my baby to sleep in. I also didnt like the look of the typical s with the exposed wood and boring cushions, but the upholstered, stylish ones tend to be quite large and quite expensive. It took a lot of looking around and reading reviews to find the perfect and THIS IS IT!!!
Thanks to the water/resistant, stain/resistant microsuede, it is so easy to wipe away spills and it looks as good as new! Plus it is silky smooth and so soft to the touch. We ordered it in Slate which is a medium grey. I wanted a chair that could hold up for multiple kids and be gender neutral to fit with different nursery themes. This color and quality is exactly what I was looking for and I could not be any more happy with it!
It has a sturdy metal base that effortlessly glides quietly and smoothly plus swivels 360 degrees. It really gives you a full glide motion without feeling wobbling, plus no squeaking or creaking! It glides perfectly straight and I never feel like Im going too far back or too far forward.
The chair is approximately 33 inches high by 30 inches wide, and the seat is approximately 21 inches wide and 18 inches deep. It fits both myself (5 3) and my husband (5 10) perfectly and is extremely comfortable. My husbands office is next to the nursery and I often catch him stealing this to put in front of his desk because he loves it so much!
It fits perfectly in the corner of our sons nursery and does not overwhelm the small room like other big s would do. It is sleek, stylish and modern yet has a warm and comforting feel.
When I was breastfeeding, I had no problem using a nursing pillow while rocking (well, gliding) in this chair. I love rocking my son to sleep at bedtime in this comfy chair and I cant wait until we start story time!
I would recommend a small pillow just to give a little more support for your lower back, but many chairs are like that so I wouldnt take away points for this chair. I honestly wouldnt bother purchasing an because I think this is just fine without one. There is no head/neck support as this chair comes up to your shoulders/just under your shoulders (depending on your height). This does not bother me at all, but if your hoping to put your head back and sleep, this is not the chair for you.
All in all, this is a great stylish, space/saving that is extremely comfy and kid/mess friendly! I am so glad we purchased this and I would definitely recommend it!

So good! I was nervous about purchasing furniture online without having tried this in person but the quality is great. My husband and I love it. Fits each of us well / we are an XL frame. Glides, rocks and swivels smoothly. And the fabric feels great/ much more expensive than some microsuedes Ive seen in the past. And great neutral color we can extend to other rooms one day.
I love this . Im 55 and my feet reach the ground fine (although an ottomon addition will be ideal for easy rocking). The material is really nice and cozy and it looks great in our bedroom which is doubling as the nursery. It came assembled with no issues. 10 months pregnant and able to pull it out of the box and drag it into the room myself. For people concerned about back support: I find it to be totally sufficient. Maybe these newborn nights will tell a different story but in my trials so far, it has come up to my upper back. I share this because it seemed possibly too low in pictures but for me its perfect. I only wonder how the firmness of the cushion will hold up; hoping it doesnt get saggy.

After using a classic cushioned wooden rocker with my first two children I decided to get this with my third and last child as I had always wanted one like it before but was put off by the price. I am so glad I ended up buying this one and I love that it can still be a stylish piece of furniture long after baby outgrows being rocked. This is definitely worth the price as it is super comfortable and would work in any room not just a nursery! The only thing to be aware of is that there is no neck or head support as the back of the chair comes up to just under the shoulders. I was initially worried about this but on nights I was up all night rocking I would just slump down and lay my head on top of the back of the chair and it was comfortable enough. The chair will also gradually slide on wood and tile floors so you may want to put a rug underneath if you will be doing a lot of rocking!

I was hesitant to buy online without having tried the chair but with all the great reviews and for only 300 I took a chance.
The chair is perfect for what I needed. The color is just as shown. It glides and swivels without sound. Part of me wanted a bigger, taller chair I could fall asleep on but bc Im on the shorter side (53), the size is great. I can reach the floor to rock myself but the chair is still deep enough to be very comfortable. I mainly bottle feed, but when I did breast feed, there was just enough room for the boppy and baby. Chair was delivered in great shape and fully assembled. Very happy with this purchase!

After a few months of use the base fractured. Apparently this is a known defect and replaced it for free. The replacement was reinforced at the fracture location and its been going strong for over a year now with no problems!
The chair is comfortable, but dont expect to fall asleep with your baby as there isnt anywhere for you to rest your head.
I bought 3 of these club chairs for my tweenage sons hangout area. Perfect for hanging out and playing Xbox. The fabric is so soft and luxurious feeling. The gray color is a wonderful midtone / not too dark and not too light. The swivel and gliding motion is fantastic!!! Well worth the money. Chairs are heavy. I think they will hold up well
Great chair! I have it in my family room. Looks beautiful and gets tons if compliments. The rocking device has started to make the chair lean forward a bit. Didnt do that in the beginningabout 6 months later
