Strong one. I purchased this futon over others because of the memory foam description, hoping that wed have a comfortable sofa for sitting on and for guests who sleep over. Unfortunately, it is not comfortable for either. The back cushioning is not one you can sink into, so you need to add a lot of throw pillows, which covers up the design and takes up space, making the couch not as deep. The side arms are hard as well, making the corners very uncomfortable and not good for leaning against. The sofa cushions that you sit on are pretty firm, which I dont mind, but you can feel the bottom of the sofa and they sink in in certain places after awhile. If you have 2 guests sleeping on it, the person sleeping on the top portion wont be comfortable because of the middle crease and bumps. That person would definitely need a mattress topper.
Although it didnt work well for us in terms of my expectations based on the memory foam description, the positives were the very affordable price for a great/looking sofa that works well in apartment spaces. It definitely looks more expensive then what you pay for it and I love the modern style of it. It also came well/packaged and was super easy and quick to assemble. If you are looking for a stylish piece that wont be used for long periods of time, this one would work great and is a great price!
My husband and I decided to turn our spare room into a sitting room as well as spare room. I was nervous about ordering a futon and chair online through but Im glad I took the chance. I am extremely impressed with the quality of this futon (and matching chair) especially for the price. First of all, its huge! My 60 husband can lay completely flat and is still comfortable, now I am more confident offering it to guests as a sleeping space. Secondly, the set looks beautiful. The color and material are perfect. I was torn between setting up as a modern/chill vibe or as a classy/elegant look but I went with the chill vibe and Im in love. My only complaint is that its not the most comfortable thing Ive sat on so therefore Ill be buying a memory foam topper for when its used as a bed but that doesnt change the fact that its an aming futon! You wont regret buying this. Oh and did I mention it was SO easy for me (a girl) to put together on my own! Bonus! Nice fit.
The blue is bit lighter than it shows, but its a really beautiful color and I love it. The comfort isnt anything less that I expected, but its not terrible. Folded out into a futon isnt bad at all, my teen son wanted to sleep on it 3 nights in a row and thought it was comfy. You can fold it down if you feel like lounging for a movie night, then you have lots of room to spread out, kinda fun. It was easy to assemble. So far very happy with my purchase! Get it!!
Fast service. Sturdy, easy to assemble but stiff to sleep on. I had hoped it would be softer but it was not. Over all good value but I had hoped for more. Given the arms it felt smaller than it was if you are tall this may not be a sleeping unit for you.
Still good for College furniture but not everyday home.
Very please with this purchase. The foam is more rigid than expected, but this hasnt taken away from the comfort while sitting. We have not used it as a bed yet. HAPPY!!
