    Bolts are easily stripped.

Everything about the bed is great except the blots they give you. The bolts are made of cheep metal that strip way too easy. After stripping a few with power tools, I tried just using the Allen wrench that comes with it but that stripped the bolds to. After trip to Home Depot I got the bolds that matched as best I could. In the end about 4 or 5 bolts are stripped out and will never be removed. To disassemble this bed Ill have to saw it apart. Dont get me wrong I would buy this bed again, the price is well worth it, just no resell value.

    Good for a toddlers room.

A bit smaller than expected. But good for my 5yo.

    Room For Activities

Compact ladder design helped save even more space.

    Good deal I guess

This was the worst thing Ive ever put together. Biggest pain was due to some of the holes for the screws not matching the size of the screws, so I had to get my drill out and fix it. Then, the screws provided for the slates are not long enough. Although it was horrible putting together this bed is very cute and Im glad my kids love it.

    Good for the price

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter who is really tall, its super cute but I dont think its gonna have longevity, it is sturdy and doesnt make a creaking sound when she gets on there, but I wouldnt dare even step on the ladder. Its shorter than what you typically picture with these types of beds but we needed the shorter size for an upstairs bedroom with bizarre low sloped ceilings. It took me like 3 hours to put this together but would be significantly easier with a buddy. I read a lot of bad reviews on this but Im glad I took the risk, I had no damage or scratches, all the holes matched up and was easy for me to follow the directions.

    Loft Bed Review

    I love this bed.

Even though the product is marketed for children ages 4 through teens, in my opinion this bed can also work for young single adults (like me) with a limited living space such as a college dorm or small apartment. Do not be deceived by the studio images on the product listing: the childrens toys and preschool under the bed in the staged pictures truly dwarf the size of this bed-- the bed is fit for a Twin, and is large enough to quite comfortably fit one adult. I purchased tension curtain rods and 24 curtains to make an elegant bed skirt, and the space underneath I use for storage. I love this bed; because so much fits under it, it saves a ton of space. The product arrives in a very large, heavy box, so plan ahead to have assistance with bringing it to your desired room. The directions made setup pretty easy, which was a relief; I used a power drill for the screws, but many of the fasteners are designed for an Allen wrench/hex key (included). This bed is not designed to be used with a box spring, so if you have a box spring you will need to dispose of it. The wood on the bed frame scratches very easily; hard pressure from your own thumbnail will leave an indentation in the wood. The bed is sturdy when used properly, but it would not safely withstand being jumped on, roughhousing/wrestling, or any other activities beyond sleeping. Overall I highly recommend this product. The manufacturer notes that the weight limit on the upper part of the bed is 165lbs. I had concerns about that before buying, because, assuming that that figure includes the weight of the mattress, that leaves not much weight for a person. I weigh 155lbs and feel very secure using this bed. Also, the manufacturer states that the consumers mattress must not exceed 6 in height. My mattress comes to about 7 and it works just fine. The railings measure 13.5 high from the crossbeams under the mattress. Here is an excerpt from the warnings on the product that would be helpful to have had on the listing: Maximum weight on upper part of bed: 165 lbs. Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the bed. Do not allow children under four years of age to use the upper bunk. Bed is designed for children ranging from 4 years of age to teenagers. Use only coil spring mattresses on the upper bunk. Failure to do so can result in injury. Use only mattresses which are 74 - 75 long, 37.5 - 38.5 wide on bed. Ensure thickness of mattress does not exceed 6.

    Recommend for small rooms

I purchased the full size one for my soon to be 10yrs old son to give his room more space and he loves it. Its a good height and the storage below is perfect for his two small dresser chest, book shelf, study desk (slides in and out). I didnt want to get rid of his box spring because it is still new so the bed is higher than without of course but like I said he loves it. I did purchase guardrails just in case, but honestly he doesnt need it because hes not a wild sleeper.

Beds and forts and storage for small spaces but needs better hardware!!

Love these beds, (I have two) the only issue with both is the tool they provide strips easily. I had to buy an allen wrench driver set to finish the beds. One of the beds came with a missing/wrong post and wasnt able to put the ladder up. The process to get a replacement part is, a little excessive and contemplating drilling my own holes. Very fun and great beds for making the best of a tight situation!
