It seems the island is made from sturdy wood and the appearances meets expectations well. There is a missing piece that is vital to assembly! We contacted the service department via a voice mail as no one was available to speak to directly. Today is the 5th day of waiting, albeit 2 of the days were weekend ones.
It was pretty easy to assemble. Having someone to help lift the heavier pieces was helpful but all in all I put it together myself. It looks great in my kitchen and holds a small amount of items. Im glad that I purchased this and recommend it .
Beautiful sturdy kitchen island. Extremely easy to follow instructions, packaging was good enough to protect all components. Comes in 3 large boxes. This will be a great lifelong piece of furniture.
Delivery was a a little bit late and one box was broken but nothing was missing. Setting up
was very easy. If you go follow instruction, one person can assemble whole piece in 90 minutes Just one piece was damaged a little bit in delivery

My 16 year old daughter and I assembled, she did most of the work , went together pretty easy. Added pull out shelves (wire basket on tracks) to the bottom of both cabinets (that took a bit of maneuvering) but we love how much storage we have. Would highly recommend for someone looking for an island. Glad I made this purchase, NO REGRETS.
The only thing that was frustrating was that there was a piece missing and I had to wait 3 days while the half built island sat in the middle of my kitchen. Otherwise, great choice.
Our kitchen did not have an island. We got this one. Assembly was not difficult and it has wheels so we could put it exactly where we wanted it and can move it easily if we need to.
