Ok so initially I was so excited about this Island once I put it together.BEAUTIFUL. Instructions were easy, nicely packaged, quick delivery! Now, all that glitters is NOT gold. About 3 days after sitting all pretty in my kitchen, the wood counter top began to crack.
In several places at that. I called and they offered to replace it or compensate me. Cant be mad at that! So I must say they stood by me on this. However, it would have been MUCH better to have a product that was completely up to par with NO issues. Hope the manufacturer corrects this or at least pulls this off the site. Thanks for doing the right thing .

This kitchen. Island is perfect for what I was looking for. I was able to put it together by myself, which was awesome. It took me about 3 hours, but I was building it while tending to two children. This whole thing is made of real wood. Lots of storage and go perfect with my kitchen. Now I just need 2 stools to go with it.
If you can budget 600, do this and quit messing around with those 200 and 300 kitchen islands. When we first purchased this home we were going to gut the kitchen, then after getting appliances and changing light fixtures we decided to try this island.

Were going to paint the countertops and call it a day.
This could be a 1 person job but my husband and I put this together on carpeted area right next to kitchen and it took us 30 mins. The unboxing will take you about 15/20 mins. Make sure you unbox and lay EVERYTHING out 1st. The job will take you so much less time to assemble.
The fantastic news is this:
The bottom and top are all ready done.
You are just putting the corners and cabinets together.
The bad news:
This thing is HEAVY but its 90 real wood except for a few pieces that are inside of the cabinet.
So other than getting someone to help out for about an hour this is so well made, you wont regret it.
