This island is a great addition to our kitchen. We do most of our meals buffet style and the surface area is large enough to set out a full meal for serving. Ours was missing the drop leaf. I called the customer surface number provided with the packaging and they sent the leaf right away. Super happy. Ive put together a lot of kit furniture, this is by far the best designed.
Sturdy, very nice furniture item. Base is heavy so 2 people to assemble. Smaller parts are easy to assemble just a little tedious. Took about 2/3 hours to fully assemble but was fun as long as you are not rushed. Wood is solid and finish looks very good. There was some damage in transit but company replaced items fairly quickly. Note that box size is larger than post office allows so make delivery to an address and not post office. Boxes are heavy and require two people to lift easily.
This island was more than I was hoping for. I was worried it would be wobbly and the leaf would be loose. Nope! It is nice and sturdy. Plan to have two people assemble as its hard to hold and bolt together by yourself.
This island is so beautiful! I couldnt be happier with my purchase. It was easy to put together. The top, including the drawers, came assembled in its own box. I have bought many assemble/yourself pieces of furniture. This one is the best quality I Ive come across. I expect it to last many, many years and its really so pretty.
Love this island but when it came there was a knick (I guess from shipping), did me right and gave a credit for it. Im ok with that. Also a couple of small runs from the stain, not enough for me to send it back. Overall, I love it.
